A 39-year-old Palm Coast man was arrested on a felony warrant after allegedly stopping payments on a leased PlayStation 5 and failing to return it, according to an October 6, 2026, report by Rich Carroll for Observer Local News. The report attributes its account to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. An arrest is not a conviction, and the report does not give a final court outcome or sentence.
What the report says happened
Observer Local News reported that the man had leased the PlayStation 5 from a Palm Coast business. After payments allegedly stopped, an employee tried to contact him about them. The report says he became verbally abusive and told the employee, “the game console is gone” and “do what you got to do.”
The article describes the alleged offense as “Failure to redeliver leased equipment.” It says deputies went to a home on Rosepetal Lane to serve the warrant. A family member initially told deputies the man was not home and shut the door; a deputy reportedly saw him inside. After deputies knocked repeatedly for more than 10 minutes, he came to the door and was taken into custody without incident. These details are from the news account and have not been independently corroborated here.

The report describes an arrest on a felony warrant, not a conviction. It does not state whether charges were filed, how any court case was resolved, or whether a sentence was imposed. The allegations should not be treated as proof of guilt.
