Paint to Get Rich is a Roblox studio-building game by Toasty Works—not a way to earn real-world money. You paint pictures, display them for buyers, negotiate sales, and spend in-game Cash on upgrades. Painting also earns Stars, which help with progression. The official Roblox listing describes the goal as building an art empire and highlights galleries, studio upgrades, artists, and new worlds: Roblox experience listing.
How do you get started in Paint to Get Rich?
The basic loop is straightforward: create a painting, put it on display, then sell it when a buyer makes an offer you like. A third-party walkthrough describes these steps, though it does not establish that every control works the same way on every device.
- Start a painting. Choose a canvas and paint. The walkthrough gives mouse controls, so use the controls shown in your game if you are playing on another platform.
- Put the finished work on a display stand. This makes it available for buyers to view.
- Wait for an offer and negotiate. Review what the buyer offers, negotiate, and sell when you are satisfied.
- Spend Cash on studio upgrades. The walkthrough says upgrades can raise earnings and open new worlds or places to paint.
- Keep painting for Stars. Painting earns Stars as well as sales income; Stars contribute to later progression.
The walkthrough says you buy studio upgrades by stepping on green buttons in the studio. Follow the prompts visible in your current game, since exact controls and interface details may vary.
What should you upgrade first?
Cash is for studio upgrades, while Stars support later progression. The available walkthrough does not list upgrade prices, earnings increases, or a universal best upgrade order, so compare the cost and reward shown in your own studio rather than relying on a fixed sequence. If an upgrade unlocks a new painting location or world, weigh that access against upgrades that improve your current earning loop.

How do NPC painters and Prestige work?
NPC painters
The walkthrough describes NPC painters as a way to earn income passively. Treat them as a supplement: the same source advises continuing to paint toward Prestige goals rather than relying on passive earnings alone.
Prestige
Prestige resets progress in exchange for a permanent Cash multiplier, according to the walkthrough. It says the reset requires specified amounts of Cash, completed sales, and Stars, but does not give those amounts. Check the live Prestige menu for the requirements before resetting; do not assume a threshold from an older guide or another player’s progress applies to your game.

Is Paint to Get Rich free to play?
A third-party walkthrough reports that the experience is free to play without relying on premium elements. That is not an official pricing guarantee. Roblox is the platform, and the game’s Cash and Stars are in-game progression currencies—not real-world earnings.
Can you play it right now?
Availability can change. The official Roblox page showed the update label “W2 / THE MUSEUM!” and, when checked, displayed “There are currently no running experiences.” That status message is a time-sensitive snapshot, not proof that the game has been permanently removed. If you cannot join, check the current listing again: Roblox experience listing.
