For Amazon’s October 6–7, 2026, Prime Big Deal Days, the most useful outdoor-tool deals depend on the job: a reported WORX combo kit covers trimming and leaf clearing, while separate listings include a Greenworks pressure washer and a DEWALT pruning saw. Amazon advertises discounts of up to 40% on select power tools and up to 30% on selected EGO+ and WORX leaf blowers; those are maximums, not discounts guaranteed on every model. Prices and stock can change during the event, which ends at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7.
Which outdoor power tools are worth checking during October Prime Day?
Start with the task rather than the discount: clear leaves, trim grass edges, prune branches, shape shrubs, or wash outdoor surfaces. The available deal examples cover these categories, but they do not establish one best tool for every home or provide independent performance comparisons.
Amazon’s 2026 event guide lists up to 40% off select DEWALT, CRAFTSMAN, and Bosch power tools, and up to 30% off selected fall favorites including EGO+ and WORX leaf blowers. These are retailer-stated ceilings for select products, not across-the-board discounts.

Are leaf blowers and yard-tool kits on sale?
Yes. Amazon lists selected EGO+ and WORX leaf blowers among fall deals. Bob Vila’s October 6, 2026 roundup reports a WORX 20V string-trimmer and leaf-blower kit at $109.24, compared with a reported former price of $179.99. The roundup says the kit includes two batteries and a charger, which matters when comparing it with a bare tool or a bundle requiring extra purchases.

How should you choose the right tool for your property?
For leaves and lawn edges
A blower and string trimmer solve different tasks, even when sold together. Consider whether you need both, and compare the kit’s included batteries and charger with the tools you already own. The named EGO blower is identified as 56V and 615 CFM, but the cited sources do not provide equivalent testing across competing models, so those specifications alone do not establish which blower performs best for your yard.

For branches and shrubs
The cited DEWALT pruning saw has an 8-inch bar and is described as a bare tool. Check what battery platform you own and the cost of any required battery and charger before judging its total price. A compact pruning saw is for pruning work; the available information does not establish it as suitable for every branch or cutting job. Hedge trimmers and powered pruning tools also appear in deal coverage, but no comparative test or ranking is provided.

The Greenworks example is a 2100 PSI electric pressure washer; Bob Vila names patios and outdoor furniture as use cases. Pressure washers are exterior-cleaning tools, not substitutes for tools that cut or clear vegetation. The cited information does not establish universal PSI guidance or tested results against other models, so match the stated pressure and included accessories to the surfaces and cleaning tasks you have in mind.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What should you verify before buying?
- Current price and availability: Reopen the product listing on the day you buy. A reported discount can change, and a deal can sell out.
- Battery and charger: Confirm whether the listing is a kit or bare tool, and account for compatible batteries and chargers in the total cost.
- Exact model and package: Check the included accessories, battery count, seller, stock, and Prime eligibility rather than assuming every listing matches a roundup description.
- Fit for the job: Compare the tool’s stated capacity and size with your needs; the cited figures do not provide independent cross-brand performance rankings.
Amazon’s official event page gives the event dates as October 6–7, 2026, through 11:59 p.m. PDT October 7. Its event announcement quotes Carmen Nestares, vice president of North America Marketing and Prime Tech, describing the event as a way to prepare for fall and the holidays while saving. That is Amazon’s event positioning, not independent evidence of product performance or savings.
