A third-party comparison listing can show changing retailer snapshots, but those do not establish a same-time price for matched configurations. Check current listings, storage, seller and availability directly before calculating a price difference.

Display: Nothing is larger and has higher stated ceilings
Nothing specifies a 6.83-inch 1.5K panel with an adaptive refresh rate up to 144 Hz. OPPO lists a 6.59-inch FHD+ panel with a refresh rate up to 120 Hz. On paper, Nothing offers more screen area and higher resolution and refresh-rate ceilings. These specifications alone do not establish which display looks better in everyday use; brightness figures, where given by manufacturers, may also use different measurement methods.

Cameras: different telephoto details, not a proven image-quality winner
Both phones have three rear cameras, including 50 MP main and telephoto cameras plus an 8 MP ultra-wide. Nothing specifically identifies its telephoto as a periscope unit with 3.5× optical zoom. OPPO lists a 50 MP telephoto with 2-axis OIS and up to 3.5× optical zoom for video. OPPO also lists a higher-resolution, wider-field-of-view front camera: 50 MP and 100° versus Nothing’s 32 MP and 89°. Megapixel counts and lens specifications do not by themselves prove which phone takes better photos or selfies; that requires comparable sample images and testing.
Battery and charging: OPPO publishes higher figures
OPPO lists a 6,500 mAh typical capacity and 6,335 mAh rated capacity for the Reno15, with wired charging up to 80 W. Nothing’s India-specific Phone (4a) Pro information gives a 5,400 mAh battery and 50 W wired charging. These are manufacturer figures, not a promise of a particular runtime or charging time; actual results depend on use and conditions.

Protection: ratings are not interchangeable durability guarantees
OPPO India lists IP66/IP68/IP69 for the Reno15, while Nothing advertises IP65 for the Phone (4a) Pro. OPPO also describes an aluminium frame and glass back; Nothing describes an aircraft-grade aluminium unibody and Gorilla Glass 7i. These are manufacturer-published ratings and material claims. An IP rating describes performance under specified test conditions, not immunity to all water exposure, impacts or wear.
Software support: OPPO states more major OS updates
OPPO says the Reno15 will receive five major ColorOS version updates and six years of security updates. Nothing states three years of OS updates and six years of security updates for the Phone (4a) Pro. On the published commitments, OPPO offers two more major version updates; both state the same security-update period. Check each company’s current policy and regional terms when buying, since support commitments can be updated.

Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro if a larger, higher-resolution display and a periscope telephoto with specified 3.5× optical zoom are your priorities.
- Consider the OPPO Reno15 if its larger published battery capacity, faster rated wired charging, higher-resolution front camera or longer stated major-version support matter more to you.
- Do not choose on chipset name alone: both list the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Without comparable independent benchmarks, that shared specification does not establish a performance winner.
- For value, compare matched live offers. Use the same storage configuration, confirm the seller and current availability, and compare the final price rather than treating OPPO’s launch prices as current sale prices.
