The available India listings confirm three OPPO Reno15 5G launch-price configurations and one Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus configuration, but they do not support a full specifications verdict. OPPO’s announced launch prices run from ₹45,999 to ₹53,999; Motorola’s India family page displays ₹47,999 for a 12GB/256GB model, alongside an MRP of ₹84,999. Because these are different types of price figures and the Motorola specification sheet is incomplete, neither a definitive price gap nor an overall winner is established.
OPPO Reno15 vs Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus: verified details
The comparison below is limited to information published by the manufacturers for India. OPPO’s figures are announced launch prices; Motorola’s figure is a displayed page price, not a guaranteed transaction price. OPPO India’s launch announcement and Motorola India’s Edge family page do not provide equivalent, complete specification sheets.
| Phone | Verified India configuration | Price information | What the cited official information establishes |
|---|---|---|---|
| OPPO Reno15 5G | 8GB/256GB; 12GB/256GB; 12GB/512GB | ₹45,999; ₹48,999; and ₹53,999, respectively, as announced India launch prices | OPPO said sales would begin 13 January 2026 through Amazon, Flipkart, mainline retail outlets, and OPPO’s e-store. |
| Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus | 12GB/256GB | ₹47,999 displayed on Motorola India’s page, with ₹84,999 shown as MRP | The page confirms the listed name and memory configuration. The displayed price and MRP do not establish a guaranteed checkout price or full offer terms. |
The Motorola page uses the name “Edge 70 Pro Plus.” Verify that this is the exact model and market listing you intend to buy; the “5G” suffix in comparison wording is not a substitute for checking the product listing.

The available figures do not establish a reliable, like-for-like price difference. OPPO’s three values are launch prices across three memory configurations, while Motorola’s ₹47,999 is a page display for a single 12GB/256GB configuration, with an MRP also shown. These are not the same price type or a matching set of variants. Prices, stock, sellers, and discounts can change.

For a useful comparison, check both phones on the same day and compare the same storage tier where available. Include the seller, warranty, bank or exchange discounts, and any other checkout conditions. Treat OPPO’s announced prices as launch figures, not live quotes. Motorola’s displayed amount should likewise be confirmed at checkout.
What OPPO Reno15 features are supported by the announcements?
OPPO’s 5 January 2026 global Reno15-series announcement describes series-level features including a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera, ColorOS 16, batteries of 6,200mAh or more, and 80W SUPERVOOC charging. The release says feature availability varies by model and market, so these statements should not be treated as a complete specification list for the India Reno15 5G.

Do not assign the 200MP main camera mentioned in OPPO India’s release to the base Reno15 5G: that claim applies to the Reno15 Pro and Reno15 Pro Mini variants.
Which specifications cannot yet be compared fairly?
The official Motorola listing available for this comparison confirms its model name, 12GB/256GB configuration, and displayed price, but does not expose enough information to compare several major buying criteria. A fair judgment on the following points needs verified specifications for both exact India models:

- Same-day street price for equivalent configurations
Without those Motorola details, a performance, camera, battery, durability, or software-support winner would be speculation. The cited official pages also provide no independent benchmark or comparative test results.

Choose based on verified India pricing and the exact configuration available to you, rather than treating the displayed prices as a direct matchup. OPPO’s release supplies launch prices for three Reno15 memory tiers. Motorola’s page supplies a single listed configuration and a volatile displayed price, but not enough specifications for a broader winner call.

Before paying, verify the exact model name, RAM and storage, full specification sheet, seller, warranty, and final checkout price. For OPPO, confirm which series-level features apply to the base Reno15 5G in India; for Motorola, obtain the complete official specification details for the Edge 70 Pro Plus listing you are considering.
