The OPPO Reno15 Pro and iQOO 15R make different spec-sheet bets: Reno15 Pro lists a dedicated telephoto camera and higher-resolution rear cameras, while iQOO 15R lists a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform, a larger-capacity battery and a higher display refresh ceiling. OPPO’s India launch prices are known, but the official iQOO pages reviewed do not establish a current price by configuration—so there is no reliable exact price gap to quote without checking current, matching listings.
OPPO Reno15 Pro vs iQOO 15R specs at a glance

Which phone has the more versatile camera hardware?
OPPO Reno15 Pro: a listed telephoto lens and higher-resolution sensors
OPPO lists a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide on the back, plus a 50MP front camera. Its detailed specifications describe up to 3.5× optical video zoom; the launch announcement characterizes the telephoto as a 3.5× portrait camera. That dedicated telephoto gives the Reno15 Pro a lens option not identified in iQOO’s reviewed camera specifications.

iQOO lists a 50MP Sony main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide, alongside a 32MP selfie camera. The specification page reviewed does not identify a telephoto lens. These sensor and lens details do not establish which phone takes better photos: image quality depends on more than megapixel counts and requires comparable camera testing.

How do the processors, batteries and charging compare?
Processor platforms
OPPO lists the MediaTek Dimensity 8450; iQOO lists the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. These are different processor platforms, but the names alone do not prove which phone is faster in everyday use, performs better in a particular game or maintains performance under sustained load. No comparable benchmark or thermal result is established by the cited product pages.
Battery capacity and charging claims
OPPO specifies a 6500mAh typical battery capacity and a 6345mAh rated capacity, with up to 80W wired charging. Its 8 January 2026 launch announcement additionally states 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. iQOO specifies 7600mAh typical capacity, 100W wired charging and bypass charging. These are manufacturer specifications, not like-for-like runtime results; capacity and charging figures do not establish which phone will last longer for a particular person.

What differs on the displays?
Reno15 Pro has a larger listed panel: 6.78 inches, FHD+ resolution (2772 × 1272) and up to 120Hz. iQOO 15R’s display is 6.59 inches and 1.5K (1260 × 2750). Its official product overview advertises 144Hz, while its parameter page uses the wording “130Hz for normal scene” in a touch/display-rate field. Because those iQOO pages do not make the condition behind the difference clear, treat its refresh figure as inconsistent across the published specifications rather than assuming one definitive rate.

What is the OPPO Reno15 Pro vs iQOO 15R price difference?
OPPO’s announced India launch prices
OPPO announced the Reno15 Pro in India at ₹67,999 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and ₹72,999 for 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Why an exact current gap cannot be stated
The reviewed iQOO India parameter and product pages give specifications but do not establish a current price for each RAM/storage configuration. Therefore, a defensible current price difference cannot be calculated from those sources. To compare offers, check live Indian listings for the same RAM and storage tier, and keep bank offers, exchange discounts, sale dates and seller conditions separate from the listed price. Do not compare the Reno15 Pro’s 12GB configuration with an iQOO 15R listing that has different memory or storage and call the result a like-for-like gap.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which should you choose?
- Consider the Reno15 Pro if you want a dedicated telephoto camera and prefer the higher-resolution camera hardware OPPO lists. Its India launch prices are documented for two 12GB configurations, making those launch figures a clear historical reference—not a substitute for checking current offers.
- Consider the iQOO 15R if you prioritize its listed Snapdragon platform, larger stated battery capacity, 100W wired charging or iQOO’s explicit update commitment. Its official product page states four Android-version upgrades and six years of security updates.
- Compare both before deciding if display refresh rate or current price is decisive. The iQOO pages disagree on the refresh figure, and a current iQOO variant price is not established by the reviewed official pages.
These are spec-based decision cues, not test-proven claims that one phone takes better photos, lasts longer or performs better in sustained gaming. The documented update commitment is an information asymmetry: the reviewed OPPO specification page does not establish an equivalent support duration, which is not proof that OPPO has no support policy.

Check the regional version before buying
This comparison uses India-focused specifications and pricing. For an imported or non-India listing, verify the exact model number, supported network bands, warranty coverage and whether a charger is included; regional configurations and seller terms may differ.
