The OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini 5G is the better fit if you want a smaller, lighter phone and a dedicated telephoto camera. The vivo V70 FE is the stronger paper-spec choice for a large display and a higher-capacity battery. Both list a 200MP main camera, but that shared number does not establish equal photo quality. OPPO’s announced India launch prices were ₹59,999 for 12GB/256GB and ₹64,999 for 12GB/512GB; the official vivo pages reviewed do not establish a current price, so there is no reliable current price difference to quote.

Which phone is better for size and display?
Choose the OPPO for a more compact phone
The Reno15 Pro Mini has a 6.32-inch-class display and weighs about 187–188g, according to its listed color variants. It is the more compact and lighter option on the stated specifications, making it the more natural choice if pocketability and easier one-handed handling matter more than screen area.
Choose the vivo for a larger screen
The V70 FE’s 6.83-inch display is substantially larger, while its stated weight is 200–202g depending on color. Both displays are listed at up to 120Hz, but the vivo’s larger panel is better suited to readers who prioritize a broad viewing area for video, games or multitasking. Screen size alone does not establish which display looks better.

How do their cameras differ?
The OPPO lists more rear-camera hardware
Both phones list a 200MP main camera with autofocus and optical image stabilization. The more meaningful hardware distinction is behind it: OPPO lists a 50MP ultra-wide and a separate 50MP telephoto camera with 2-axis OIS, while vivo lists an 8MP, 120° ultra-wide and no separate physical telephoto camera in its specifications. A dedicated telephoto lens provides a distinct optical framing option; it should not be confused with digital or computational zoom.
Do not treat megapixels as a photo-quality verdict
The shared 200MP main-camera figure does not prove the phones produce equivalent photos. Sensor size, lens design, stabilization, image processing and independent testing all affect results. The listed front cameras are both 50MP with autofocus, but their stated fields of view differ: 100° for OPPO and 92° for vivo. These specifications describe hardware, not a tested image-quality winner.

Which has the better battery and charging specifications?
The vivo V70 FE leads on stated battery capacity and peak charging wattage: 7000mAh typical and up to 90W FlashCharge, versus 6200mAh typical (6035mAh rated) and up to 80W SUPERVOOC for the OPPO. Those figures make vivo the higher-capacity choice on paper, but capacity and maximum charging ratings do not establish real-world battery life or charging time. Usage, network conditions, software and charging equipment can affect both.
How do performance and software support compare?
OPPO lists the MediaTek Dimensity 8450; vivo lists the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo. The chipset names indicate different product tiers on paper, but the available evidence does not provide a directly comparable benchmark or sustained-performance test. Treat this as a specification distinction, not proof of how the phones perform in particular games or workloads.

The V70 FE is listed with Android 16 and OriginOS 6, and vivo advertises six years of security maintenance counted from the local launch event date. The reviewed OPPO pages do not establish a comparable update-support duration, so the available information cannot support a like-for-like software-support winner. Check the current regional software version and update policy before buying.
What do the water-resistance ratings mean?
OPPO’s Reno15 series launch announcement lists IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings. vivo lists IP68 and IP69 for the V70 FE and warns: “The resistance to splashes, water, and dust is not permanent and may be reduced due to daily use.” A rating is not a promise that routine immersion is safe; follow each manufacturer’s care guidance, particularly after wear or damage.

What is the price difference in India?
OPPO announced India launch prices on 8 January 2026 of ₹59,999 for the 12GB/256GB Reno15 Pro Mini and ₹64,999 for the 12GB/512GB version. Those are launch-price figures, not verified current street prices. The official vivo pages reviewed do not establish a current V70 FE price, so a current rupee difference cannot be calculated reliably from this evidence. Before comparing offers, check both phones at the same seller and match storage, discounts, stock and any applicable exchange terms.
