Performance: higher-tier platform on paper, no direct test comparison
The Reno14 Pro uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450, while the Reno16c uses the Dimensity 7300-Energy. OPPO’s 2025 Reno14 launch announcement says the Reno14 Pro’s Dimensity 8450 delivers 41% better multi-core performance and 44% higher power efficiency. Those are OPPO’s comparisons, not independent results or a direct Reno14 Pro-versus-Reno16c benchmark.
The published platform names make the Reno14 Pro the more compelling choice if your priority is the stated higher-tier processor. They do not, by themselves, tell you how either phone performs in a particular game or workload; no independent comparative benchmark is established here.
Cameras and video: versatility favors Reno14 Pro
Reno14 Pro
OPPO lists three 50MP rear cameras: a main camera, a 3.5x telephoto and an autofocus ultra-wide. That gives it dedicated listed hardware for telephoto and wide-angle shooting as well as the main camera. Its listed video features include 4K 60fps HDR capture. OPPO also says EIS optimizes video stability; that is a manufacturer claim, not an independent video test.

Reno16c
OPPO specifies a 50MP 3.5x telephoto camera for the Reno16c. The cited details page does not provide enough comparable camera and video information to establish that it matches the Reno14 Pro’s three-camera setup or 4K 60fps HDR mode.
Choose the Reno14 Pro if the combination of telephoto, autofocus ultra-wide and specified high-resolution video matters to you. The published specifications establish hardware and supported modes, not comparative photo quality in everyday use.
Display, battery and charging
Display
OPPO lists a 6.83-inch 120Hz OLED display for the Reno14 Pro. The cited Reno16c details page does not state comparable display size, panel type or refresh rate, so a display advantage cannot be quantified from these sources.

OPPO lists a protective case among the Reno16c’s India box contents, while cautioning that box contents may vary by market. The cited sources do not establish matching Reno14 Pro box contents.

OPPO advertises IP69 protection for the Reno14 Pro. Treat that as a manufacturer specification, not evidence of an independent durability test or a guarantee against damage in every situation. OPPO’s underwater-use guidance recommends a professional waterproof case for underwater photography and says depth should not exceed two metres. Do not interpret the phone’s water-resistance claim as permission to use it underwater without observing that guidance.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Reno14 Pro if you value its specified three-camera rear system, 4K 60fps HDR video, 50W wireless charging, 6.83-inch 120Hz OLED display or OPPO’s IP69 claim.
- Choose the Reno16c if a larger stated typical battery, expandable storage or an 8GB+128GB configuration better suits your priorities.
- Compare current retailer prices before buying. The published Reno14 Pro prices are July 2025 launch figures; Reno16c prices are stated as correct on 9 September 2026. They are not a same-date street-price comparison.
