The OPPO K13x 5G (4GB+128GB) is the strongest-supported OPPO option under ₹12,000: its India launch price was ₹11,999, and it appears under the limit on a third-party October 2026 list. The OPPO A5x 5G (4GB+64GB) is another possible fit, listed at ₹9,999, but check its live price and stock before buying. Neither figure guarantees today’s checkout price.
OPPO phones under ₹12,000 to check
| Phone and configuration | Price evidence | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| OPPO K13x 5G, 4GB+128GB | OPPO announced an India launch price of ₹11,999. Mysmartprice’s October 2026 list also includes it under ₹12,000. | The announced price and third-party listing make this the clearest candidate. OPPO said it went on sale through the OPPO e-store and Flipkart; that does not confirm current stock or price. |
| OPPO A5x 5G, 4GB+64GB | Mysmartprice lists it at ₹9,999. | OPPO’s India specification page confirms this configuration. The listing price is not a guaranteed current offer. |
| OPPO A5x 5G, 4GB+128GB | OPPO’s May 2025 launch announcement priced this configuration at ₹13,999. | That launch price is above budget. Do not assume the 4GB+64GB listing price applies to this larger-storage variant. |
What the A5x 5G offers
OPPO’s India specification page lists the A5x 5G with a 6.94-inch-class LCD (16.94 cm diagonal), HD+ resolution of 1604×720, and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It uses a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. These are manufacturer specifications for the A5x 5G, not a comparison against every phone in this price range.
OPPO lists a 6000mAh typical battery capacity and 5860mAh rated capacity, alongside 45W SUPERVOOC charging. The difference between typical and rated capacity is worth noting when comparing battery claims across products. OPPO also describes the phone as IP65 water- and dust-resistant and calls its display ultra-bright; treat these as manufacturer claims, not independent test results.

How to verify a phone is really under ₹12,000
- Match the full configuration. Confirm model name, RAM and storage on the listing. A price for 4GB+64GB does not establish the price of 4GB+128GB.
- Check the live checkout total. Launch prices, suggested retail prices, third-party listing prices and current checkout prices are different. OPPO says its catalog prices are suggested retail prices and may vary by purchasing channel.
- Confirm stock and seller details. Check that the exact configuration is in stock, identify who is selling it, and review warranty terms and the final payable amount before placing an order.
- Use a strict cutoff. If the exact variant costs more than ₹12,000 at checkout, it is not an under-₹12,000 option at that time.
Which one should you consider?
Start with the K13x 5G 4GB+128GB if you want the clearest documented fit and more storage than the A5x’s under-budget 4GB+64GB listing. Consider the A5x 5G 4GB+64GB if its current checkout price remains below your limit and that storage capacity suits you. The available price evidence does not establish a guaranteed current deal for either phone.
Be cautious with broad budget roundups: they can mix old devices, upcoming models, and prices gathered from different sellers. OPPO’s current India price page also lists newer A-series models above ₹12,000, so confirm the exact model and live offer rather than relying on a family name or an old price.
