The phone described in December 2025 leaks as the OPPO K15 Turbo Pro launched in China under a different official name: OPPO K15 Pro+. OPPO confirms that the K15 Pro+ uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s. The same leaks attributed a 50MP main camera to the phone, but OPPO’s launch-page text does not confirm that camera specification.
Is the OPPO K15 Turbo Pro the official name?
No. “K15 Turbo Pro” was the name used in December 2025 leak coverage. OPPO’s Chinese launch page identifies the Dimensity 9500s handset as the OPPO K15 Pro+. The later official name is the one to use when referring to the launched phone. Gizmochina reported the leak on December 24, 2025, and GSMArena reported the tipped camera and chipset details the following day.
Earlier rumor coverage had suggested a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for the Pro model. That was a different, unconfirmed leak; the reported specifications changed, and it should not be treated as an official product history.

What chipset does the OPPO K15 Pro+ use?
OPPO lists the K15 Pro+ with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s. The standard OPPO K15 Pro uses a different processor, the Dimensity 8500 SUPER. OPPO also lists different screen refresh rates for the two models:

What the Dimensity 9500s specifications tell you
MediaTek announced the Dimensity 9500s on January 15, 2026. The company describes it as a 3nm chipset with an octa-core CPU made up of one Cortex-X925 core running at up to 3.73GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores, and four Cortex-A720 cores. It also lists an Immortalis-G925 GPU and describes support for gaming, imaging, AI features, 5G, and Wi-Fi. Those are MediaTek’s platform specifications and claims, not independent measurements of the K15 Pro+.

MediaTek lists up to 7Gbps downlink support for the chipset’s 5G modem. That figure describes the modem capability stated by the chipmaker; it is not a measured download speed for this OPPO phone. Actual network performance depends on the handset implementation, carrier, coverage, and other conditions.
Is the K15 Pro+ camera 50MP?
That figure remains a leak claim in the available official material. Digital Chat Station was reported as tipping a 50MP main camera in the December 2025 coverage, but OPPO’s captured launch-page text does not independently confirm the sensor resolution. It is accurate to say that leaks reported a 50MP camera; it is not established here as an official K15 Pro+ specification.

The same leak coverage also described a 6.78-inch LTPS OLED display and a built-in active cooling fan. Those details likewise were not confirmed in the captured OPPO launch-page text, so they should not be presented as settled specifications.

- Confirmed by OPPO: The Dimensity 9500s belongs to the official K15 Pro+; the standard K15 Pro uses Dimensity 8500 SUPER. OPPO lists refresh rates of 165Hz and 144Hz, respectively.
- Reported in leaks, not confirmed in the captured official text: A 50MP main camera, a 6.78-inch LTPS OLED screen, and a built-in active cooling fan for the phone originally called K15 Turbo Pro.
- Not established here: Regional pricing and availability, cellular-band compatibility, warranty and software-support terms, independent handset performance results, or confirmation of the camera resolution.
OPPO’s launch page says its cooling figures are based on official laboratory estimates and that real-world results may vary with device aging, network conditions, and personal use. Those figures should not be read as independent test results.
