The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G has the sharper display, rear-camera optical image stabilization (OIS), and a clearly stated software-support commitment. The OPPO K14 5G has the larger rated battery and was announced at a lower launch price in India. There is no reliable current price gap to declare: OPPO’s listed figures differ between its launch announcement and store page, while Samsung’s page did not provide a usable price. The Galaxy M47 5G is the clear choice on the published display specifications. Its FHD+ Super AMOLED panel has 2340 × 1080 pixels, compared with the K14 5G’s HD+ LCD at 1570 × 720. Both list a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, so the difference is resolution and panel technology rather than the maximum stated refresh rate.

- 163.2 x 77.0 x 8.7 mm or 9.1 mm
That specification advantage does not by itself describe brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor visibility. Those require comparable measurements or hands-on evaluation.
Battery capacity and charging
OPPO lists a 7000mAh typical battery for the K14 5G, with a rated capacity of 6830mAh. Samsung lists 6000mAh typical for the M47 5G. These are manufacturer capacity specifications, not measured screen-on time or a guarantee that one phone will last a particular number of hours.

- 512GB Storage, 12GB RAM
- Android 15, ColorOS 15, Mediatek Dimensity 8350 (4 nm), Octa-core (1x3.35 GHz Cortex-A715 & 3x3.20 GHz Cortex-A715 & 4x2.20 GHz Cortex-A510)

Both manufacturers list charging up to 45W, but OPPO names its system SUPERVOOC and Samsung says its charger is sold separately. The shared wattage does not mean the charging systems or real-world charging times are interchangeable. OPPO’s product information lists a charger and protective case in the box, subject to market variation; check the exact package for the Indian variant you buy.

The Galaxy M47 5G lists three rear camera resolutions—50MP, 5MP, and 2MP—and specifies OIS on the rear camera. The K14 5G lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor. The M47 also lists a higher-resolution front camera, 12MP versus 8MP.

- 158.1 x 75 x 7.7 mm (6.22 x 2.95 x 0.30 in)
Camera count and megapixel figures alone do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. OIS is a meaningful hardware feature, but it is not a complete camera-quality verdict; comparable tests would be needed to judge image processing, low-light results, and video.
Performance and software support
Processor specifications
OPPO names the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, while Samsung names the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. Chip names do not establish which phone is faster in daily use, gaming, or sustained workloads. No comparable independent benchmark results are established here, so a performance winner cannot be responsibly assigned from these specifications alone.
Rank #4
- 6.83 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 1272 x 2800 pixels
- 512GB Storage, 12GB RAM
- Android 15, ColorOS 15, Mediatek Dimensity 8450 (4 nm), Octa-core 3.25 GHz

Update commitment
Samsung states that the Galaxy M47 5G will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from its first global launch, with the qualification that its policy may change. OPPO’s cited K14 product page lists ColorOS 15.0 but does not establish an equivalent update duration. That is a difference in what the cited product information commits to; it is not proof that the K14 will receive no updates.
Price difference in India
There is no dependable current like-for-like price difference established by the available official pages. OPPO’s figures vary by source and date context, and Samsung’s retrieved product page did not expose a usable current price.

Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Galaxy M47 5G if a higher-resolution Super AMOLED display, specified rear-camera OIS, or Samsung’s published six-generation/six-year update commitment matters most to you.
- Consider the OPPO K14 5G if its higher stated battery capacity suits your priorities or its live price is attractive. Its lower announced launch prices are historical and should not be mistaken for today’s confirmed cost.
- Compare in person or wait for comparable testing if your decision depends on gaming speed, camera results, or actual battery life; the listed specifications do not settle those questions.
