The realme P4R 5G has the larger stated battery and higher maximum screen refresh rate: 8,000mAh and up to 144Hz, versus the OPPO K14 5G’s 7,000mAh and 120Hz. Both list a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and 45W charging. That makes the P4R the stronger choice on those two specifications, but it does not establish a winner for real-world battery life or overall value.
Prices need a date and matching variants to mean much. OPPO’s March 2026 launch prices differ from later store and marketplace snapshots, so there is no reliable price gap to quote without checking current listings for the same day and configuration.

Which phone has the better battery and charging?
Battery capacity
By listed capacity, the P4R leads with 8,000mAh against the K14’s 7,000mAh. Capacity is not the same as measured battery life: the available specifications do not establish how long either phone lasts under matched use, and actual endurance depends on factors such as screen settings, signal, apps, and workload.

OPPO’s product page also cites its own battery tests, including a 1%-to-37% charge in 30 minutes and a claim of more than five years of battery durability. These are OPPO claims tied to its testing, not a controlled comparison with the P4R. realme describes its battery as a “7-Year Battery Health” feature and includes lab-use figures; it says results may vary. That marketing claim is not a warranty or a prediction of an individual phone’s lifespan.
Charging
Both brands advertise 45W charging, with OPPO specifying SUPERVOOC. Equal nominal wattage does not establish equal charging time; a fair comparison would need the same starting charge, temperature, charger conditions, and testing method.

Which display is better?
The P4R has the higher stated refresh-rate ceiling: up to 144Hz compared with 120Hz on the K14. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion look smoother, but it is not proof that every app or screen mode runs at the maximum. realme specifically limits its 144Hz claim to supported scenarios and says experience may vary. The P4R page also lists a 1200-nit peak brightness figure; the cited OPPO material does not provide a directly comparable brightness figure.

Both phones use LCD panels. The secondary comparison lists the P4R at 6.8 inches and the K14 at 6.75 inches, a small size difference that does not by itself determine display quality.

Performance, software, and cameras
Performance
Both phones list the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, so the chipset name alone does not distinguish them. It also cannot settle which feels faster: memory configuration, thermal behavior, software, and workload affect performance. The cited material does not provide an independent, matched performance test or establish a gaming winner.
Software
realme’s current P4R product page identifies realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. OPPO’s launch announcement names ColorOS 15 for the K14 at launch; it does not establish the K14’s current software version. These are not necessarily same-date software descriptions, so check each phone’s current update status before buying if Android version matters to you.
Rank #4
- [360-degree rotatable ring mount] with multi-angle support, it makes watching videos and films both convenient and comfortable, offering an enviable viewing experience.
- 3D multi-directional shape change, depending on different light and angle
- PC hard back panel + soft silicone frame + four corners Shock Airbags
- The frosted surface prevents most fingerprints and the 3D design is stylish
- The ring mount features a magnetic ring, allowing you to use it in your car or for other magnetic applications
Cameras
Both manufacturers advertise a 50MP AI camera. That shared headline specification is not enough to compare image quality, video, or low-light results, and the available evidence does not establish a camera winner.

There is no dependable current price difference in the cited figures because they refer to different dates and sources. OPPO’s official launch announcement priced the K14 at ₹17,999, ₹19,999, and ₹21,999 for three RAM/storage configurations. Those are historical launch prices, not guaranteed current selling prices.

The OPPO launch prices and sale date are in OPPO India’s launch announcement; later OPPO store figures are from its K14 product page. The approximate P4R marketplace figure is the 91mobiles snapshot, not a confirmed current offer. The P4R manufacturer page cited here did not state a retail price.
For a useful value comparison, compare current delivered prices for the same day and, as closely as possible, the same RAM/storage capacity, seller, bank offers, warranty region, and return terms. Do not subtract a historical K14 launch price from a later P4R listing and call the result today’s price difference.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the realme P4R on listed specifications if your priorities are a larger stated battery and the higher supported refresh-rate ceiling.
- Consider either model for charging and chipset: both list 45W charging and the Dimensity 6300, but those shared labels do not prove equivalent charge times or performance.
- Make price the deciding factor only after checking live offers for comparable configurations; the available price figures are not a same-time, same-variant comparison.
- Do not treat the available evidence as an overall verdict: it does not establish comparative camera quality, independent endurance, gaming performance, or current K14 software status.
