The OPPO K13 5G is the clearer fit if you prioritize a larger stated battery and higher charging wattage; the Redmi Note 15 5G offers a slightly larger screen, higher listed camera resolutions and microSD expansion. There is no reliable single price difference to quote: launch prices and changing retailer listings do not line up. This comparison uses the Redmi Note 15 5G configuration reviewed by Android Central, not every phone sold under the Redmi Note 15 name.

Which phone has better performance?
The published chipset names are Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 for the K13 and Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 for the reviewed Redmi 5G. Those names alone do not establish which phone performs better in everyday use, gaming or sustained workloads. OPPO’s launch announcement promotes a manufacturer-reported AnTuTu score of 790,000; that is a vendor claim, not an independent head-to-head test.

Display and camera differences
Screen size
The reviewed Redmi Note 15 5G has a 6.77-inch display, compared with the K13’s listed 6.67 inches. Both are described as 120Hz AMOLED screens. The Redmi is larger by diagonal measurement, but the figures do not establish which has better brightness, color accuracy or outdoor visibility.
Camera hardware
The Redmi lists a 108MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide, while the K13 listing gives a 50MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor. Their front-camera figures are 20MP for the Redmi and 16MP for the K13. These resolutions describe the hardware, not the quality of the resulting photos. Android Central’s reviewer said the Redmi camera did little to stand out; that is the reviewer’s assessment, not a controlled comparison with the K13.

Battery, charging and storage

OPPO specifies a 7,000mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC charging for the K13. Android Central lists a 5,520mAh battery and 45W wired charging for the Redmi Note 15 5G. The K13 leads on the stated capacity and charging wattage, but those figures do not prove a particular real-world battery-life advantage or charge time; usage, settings and conditions matter.
Expandable storage
Android Central’s reviewed Redmi 5G configuration supports microSD expansion up to 1TB through a slot shared with the SIM tray. Check the exact regional model and tray arrangement before buying a card or assuming the feature applies to every Redmi Note 15 variant. OPPO’s launch announcement lists 128GB and 256GB K13 configurations; it does not establish microSD support.

How much do the OPPO K13 and Redmi Note 15 cost?

OPPO said K13 sales would begin April 25, 2025 through its e-store and Flipkart. The later comparison snapshot lists the K13 at Flipkart and the Redmi at Amazon, while the Redmi listing amount is substantially above its reported India launch prices. These are dynamic seller listings, not proof of a lasting price gap. Before ordering, compare the same storage configuration and check the seller, stock, shipping, offers and checkout total.
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the OPPO K13 5G if the larger stated battery and higher charging wattage are your main priorities.
- Consider the Redmi Note 15 5G if you want the slightly larger listed screen or microSD expansion, or prefer its listed camera configuration.
- Decide by current price only after matching variants. The launch prices and later retailer snapshots differ, and neither establishes today’s best-value offer.
Confirm that a listing is specifically for the Redmi Note 15 5G before using the chipset, battery, display or expansion details above. Redmi Note 15 naming covers 4G and 5G versions and regional configurations; the cited 5G review does not establish identical specifications across the whole family. Android Central’s reviewed unit ran Android 15 with HyperOS 2, but software versions and update commitments can change and vary by region.
