The OPPO K13 5G is the better fit if you want a sharper FHD+ AMOLED display, more RAM in the listed configurations, and faster charging. The POCO M8x 5G is reported to offer a larger screen and a bigger battery, but its screen resolution is lower. Neither phone is a clear winner for everyone, and available price figures are dated rather than verified live prices.

Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsDisplay: bigger on the M8x, sharper on the K13
The M8x is reported to have a 6.90-inch display, compared with 6.67 inches on the K13. But size is not the same as detail: the K13’s 1080 × 2400 FHD+ AMOLED panel has substantially more resolution than the M8x’s reported 720 × 1600 HD+ LCD. Both are listed at 120Hz, a refresh-rate figure that does not by itself establish sharpness or overall panel quality.

Performance, memory, and storage
The phones use different Snapdragon platforms: Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 in the K13 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 in the M8x, according to the gathered specifications. The K13 is listed with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB storage; M8x reporting lists 4GB or 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. These specifications favor the K13 for buyers who want more listed memory or a larger storage option. They do not establish which phone performs better in sustained gaming, runs cooler, or handles a particular workload faster.
OPPO said the K13 scored more than 790,000 on AnTuTu in its April 2025 launch announcement. That is the company’s launch figure, not an independently reproduced comparison with the M8x.

Cameras: compare more than megapixels
Both phones are reported with a 50MP main rear camera and a 2MP secondary camera. The K13 has a listed 16MP front camera, compared with 8MP for the M8x, and OPPO lists rear 4K video recording at 30fps for the K13. These numbers describe specifications, not sample quality. No independent comparative camera test establishes which phone takes better photos or video.

Software support and durability
Software versions and update promises
OPPO’s launch announcement says the K13 launched with Android 15 and ColorOS 15, with two years of OS updates and three years of security updates. Third-party listings report Android 16 and Hype for the M8x, while Smartprix lists four OS-update years and six security-update years. The M8x version and support details were not verified against an official POCO source, so confirm them with POCO before treating them as a purchase guarantee.
Water and dust resistance; size
The K13 is listed as IP65 and the M8x as IP64. The K13 is also listed as lighter and thinner: 208g and about 8.45mm, versus 232g and 8.80mm for the M8x. An IP rating is not a promise that a phone is damage-proof; it does not eliminate the risk of damage from water, dust, drops, or wear.
