The OPPO K13 Turbo Pro 5G is the stronger on-paper choice for demanding performance, with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, faster memory and storage, a larger high-resolution display, and a 7000mAh typical battery. The vivo Y400 5G counters with 90W wired charging, a 32MP front camera, and manufacturer-listed IP68/IP69 ratings. Which is the better buy depends on those priorities—and the current price for the same storage configuration, which can vary by seller and date.

Which phone has the stronger processor for gaming?
The OPPO K13 Turbo Pro has the stronger performance hardware on paper. Its Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is paired with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage; the vivo Y400 uses a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 with LPDDR4X and UFS 3.1. That is a substantial difference in hardware tier, making OPPO the more compelling specification-led pick for demanding games and heavier workloads.
OPPO also advertises an active cooling fan system on the K13 Turbo Pro. Its stated cooling and gaming claims are manufacturer claims, not results from an independent head-to-head test. The specifications alone do not establish frame rates, heat, or sustained performance in particular games.

Which display is bigger and sharper?
Both phones list AMOLED panels with refresh rates of up to 120Hz. OPPO’s panel is larger at 6.8 inches and has a resolution of 2800 × 1280, compared with vivo’s 6.67-inch, 2400 × 1080 display. Those figures give OPPO the edge in listed size and resolution, but they do not establish which screen has better colour calibration or outdoor readability.
Which has the bigger battery, and does vivo charge faster?
OPPO lists a 7000mAh typical battery, with a rated capacity of 6830mAh; vivo lists a 6000mAh typical battery. OPPO therefore has the larger stated capacity. Actual battery life depends on usage and testing conditions, so capacity alone does not prove which phone lasts longer in everyday use.
vivo specifies 90W wired charging, compared with OPPO’s maximum of 80W. The Y400 has the higher stated charging wattage, but that number does not establish a shorter full-charge time. Charger compatibility, charging conditions, and the manufacturers’ charging curves can affect how quickly either phone charges.

Which phone has the better cameras?
On the rear, both phones list a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary camera. OPPO specifies autofocus and 2-axis optical image stabilisation (OIS) for the main camera; vivo gives an f/1.8 aperture for its 50MP main camera. On the front, vivo lists a 32MP camera to OPPO’s 16MP.
The vivo has the higher selfie-camera resolution on paper, while OPPO specifies OIS for its main rear camera. Megapixel counts and individual features do not establish overall photo quality; that requires comparable camera samples and testing.
What do the water-resistance ratings mean for these phones?
vivo lists IP68 and IP69 for the Y400, while OPPO advertises IP66, IP68, and IP69 for the K13 Turbo Pro. These are manufacturer-published ratings. The short specifications do not establish that the phones were tested under identical conditions, so check each manufacturer’s product terms for the exact limits before relying on a rating around water or dust.

What is the price difference in India?
A reliable, same-day price gap for matching configurations is not established. Smartprix showed ₹29,999 for the OPPO K13 Turbo Pro and ₹25,999 for the vivo Y400 in a snapshot identified as updated September 26, 2026; those figures are not guaranteed checkout prices. Other comparison listings show differing price or availability details, so the snapshot should not be treated as a current quote.
For a fair comparison, check both phones at the same time and compare matching storage configurations—256GB is listed for both. Confirm the seller, delivery location, stock, and whether bank or exchange offers are included. OPPO’s official specifications and vivo’s official specifications confirm the models and configurations, but do not establish a comparable live checkout price.
Quick Recap
Which one should you buy?
- Choose the OPPO K13 Turbo Pro for performance-focused use: its listed processor, memory, storage, active cooling system, larger higher-resolution display, and bigger typical battery make it the stronger specification-led option for demanding workloads.
- Consider the vivo Y400 if charging wattage or selfies matter more: it lists 90W charging and a 32MP front camera, and weighs less according to the listed colour-specific figures.
- Compare the live price before deciding: the available price snapshots do not establish a dependable current rupee difference. Check equivalent storage versions and final checkout totals on the day you buy.
