Choose the OPPO K13 Turbo Pro if gaming performance and active cooling matter most; choose the POCO X8 if its larger listed battery capacity and broader range of memory configurations suit you better. OPPO’s India specifications list a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. POCO’s global specifications list a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and an 8,340 mAh typical battery, but that battery figure is not confirmed here for the India model. A 91mobiles listing showed ₹29,999 for the POCO and ₹31,999 for the OPPO marked out of stock; it is a secondary-site snapshot, not a current, matched-variant price comparison.

This comparison uses OPPO’s official India specifications for the K13 Turbo Pro (model CPH2731) and POCO’s official global specifications for the X8. Regional configurations and features can differ, so the POCO global figures should not automatically be treated as India-specific.

Which phone is better for gaming and performance?
OPPO K13 Turbo Pro: stronger listed performance hardware
The OPPO has the more capable processor on paper: its official India specifications list a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, compared with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 on POCO’s global page. OPPO also lists LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Those specifications make the OPPO the clearer choice for a buyer prioritizing gaming hardware and fast storage, but they are not a substitute for independent tests of frame rates or sustained performance.

Active cooling is a differentiator, not a guaranteed result
OPPO includes a built-in fan alongside passive cooling. The manufacturer positions this system for gaming and reports its own laboratory claims on the product page; those claims should not be read as independent head-to-head results. POCO’s cited global specifications do not list a built-in fan.
How do their displays compare?
Both specification sets list displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz and resolutions above Full HD+. OPPO gives its diagonal as 17.27 cm, while POCO specifies 6.83 inches. The listed resolutions are 2800 × 1280 for OPPO and 2772 × 1280 for POCO. These figures establish broadly similar high-refresh, large-screen categories, but do not by themselves settle brightness, color accuracy or outdoor visibility.

Which has the bigger battery?
POCO’s global specifications list an 8,340 mAh typical battery with 67W HyperCharge; OPPO lists a 7,000 mAh typical battery (6,830 mAh rated) with charging up to 80W SUPERVOOC. The stated POCO capacity is larger, but it is a global-specification figure, not a confirmed India-model figure. Indian comparison pages list 9,000 mAh instead, creating a regional-specification conflict. Check POCO’s official India listing for the exact model before relying on a capacity or making a local battery-life comparison. Battery capacity and charging wattage alone do not establish actual endurance or charging time.

The cited POCO global page lists a 50MP main rear camera, a 2MP depth camera and a 16MP front camera. A 50MP main rear camera for the OPPO appears in comparison listings, but megapixel counts do not show which phone takes better photos. The available sources do not establish a controlled head-to-head camera winner, so choose based on sample images or a reliable comparative test rather than the headline megapixel figure.

What is the price difference in India?
A 91mobiles comparison listing showed the POCO X8 5G at ₹29,999 on Flipkart and the OPPO K13 Turbo Pro at ₹31,999 marked out of stock when accessed. The listing does not establish live prices, matched RAM/storage variants or current stock, and it does not verify Amazon prices. Treat those amounts as a snapshot, not a dependable price gap.
Before buying, compare the same memory configuration where possible. OPPO’s India specifications list 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB; POCO’s global page additionally lists 6GB+128GB. Confirm the exact India variant and live retailer price for each phone before comparing offers. The 91mobiles comparison page is the source for the cited price-and-stock snapshot, not an authoritative live checkout.

What about water resistance?
OPPO lists IP66, IP68 and IP69 on its product page and describes the fan module separately in its launch material. POCO’s global specifications list IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K and state laboratory conditions and limits. IP ratings are not permission for unrestricted exposure to water; consult each manufacturer’s stated test conditions and warranty terms. OPPO’s launch announcement says, “The built-in fan module is IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 rated for water resistance.” That is OPPO’s own statement, not independent validation: OPPO India launch announcement, 30 July 2025.

Which one should you buy?
- Choose OPPO K13 Turbo Pro if gaming-focused hardware is your priority: it has the stronger listed chipset, faster listed memory and storage, and a built-in cooling fan.
- Consider POCO X8 if battery capacity is your main criterion, but verify the India model’s official battery figure rather than assuming the global 8,340 mAh specification applies locally.
- Compare exact variants before deciding on price. The OPPO is listed in 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB configurations; POCO’s global page also lists 6GB+128GB. The available price snapshot is neither a matched-variant comparison nor a live offer.
- Do not choose on camera megapixels alone. The cited sources do not provide a controlled comparison establishing which phone takes better photos.
