The POCO M8 Power 5G is the better fit if you want the larger listed screen, higher stated battery capacity, expandable storage, and longer listed software support. The OPPO K13 5G favors a higher-tier listed processor, faster charging, and a higher-resolution front camera. Neither is an automatic winner: compare the live India price for the same RAM and storage tier before buying, because comparison listings show different price gaps.

Battery capacity or charging speed?

The POCO is listed with an 8,000 mAh battery, while the OPPO is listed with 7,000 mAh. Those are stated capacities, not a direct measure of how long the phones will last in your use. The OPPO’s listed 80 W SuperVOOC charging is faster on paper than the POCO’s 45 W charging. Actual charging time and battery life depend on conditions and usage; the comparison listing does not establish them through independently verified testing.

Camera specifications: what the numbers do and do not tell you

Both phones are listed with a 50 MP main rear camera and a 2 MP secondary camera. The POCO listing describes that second camera simply as secondary, while the OPPO listing identifies it as monochrome. The OPPO’s front camera is listed at 16 MP against 8 MP for the POCO. Megapixel counts alone cannot establish overall photo or video quality, and the comparison data does not provide a controlled camera assessment.

Storage and software support

Storage options

The comparison lists the OPPO in 128 GB and 256 GB configurations with UFS 3.1 storage. It lists the POCO with 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage and microSD expansion up to 1 TB. Check the exact variant being sold: the comparison does not establish that every configuration is available from every retailer, or whether the microSD limit applies to every regional SKU.

Operating system and update promises

The listing reports Android 15 and 2 years of OS updates plus 3 years of security updates for the OPPO. For the POCO, it reports Android 16 and 4 years of OS updates plus 6 years of security updates. These support periods are important differences, but confirm the current manufacturer terms for the exact India model before purchase. The official POCO specification result available for comparison was for POCO M8 5G, not POCO M8 Power 5G, so it does not validate the Power model’s details.

Price difference in India: check the same-day, same-variant price

Prices vary across the comparison listings, and neither source’s date is stated. 91mobiles lists the OPPO K13 5G at ₹22,999 and the POCO M8 Power 5G at ₹23,949—a ₹950 difference, with the OPPO lower in that snapshot. Gadgets Now lists ₹22,459 for the OPPO and ₹24,999 for the POCO—a ₹2,540 difference, again with the OPPO lower. These are source-reported listing snapshots, not confirmed current prices or guarantees of stock.

Before deciding, check the live India price for the same RAM and storage tier, and compare the final payable amount rather than relying on a headline listing. The listed OPPO configurations include 128 GB and 256 GB, while the POCO comparison lists 128 GB; do not treat unlike variants as a like-for-like price comparison.
