For India buyers, the Find X9 appears to offer more for less at the launch-era prices reported in May 2026: it was listed ₹5,000 below the Find X9s at each matching storage tier, while adding wireless charging and using the higher-tier Dimensity 9500 chip. Check live prices and stock before deciding, because those figures are not current quotes. The X9s remains a sensible pick if its current deal is better or you prefer its available colors.
What is different between the Find X9s and Find X9?
The phones are close on screen size, refresh rate, battery capacity and the basic rear-camera layout. The main buying differences are the X9’s wireless charging, its Dimensity 9500 chipset, a different main-camera sensor and a reported longer software-support policy.

On the published core specifications, the screens are closely matched: both are 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. OPPO gives the X9s resolution as 2760×1256. Those specifications do not establish which screen looks better in person; there is no comparable viewing test here.

Chipset
The X9 uses the Dimensity 9500, while the X9s uses the Dimensity 9500s. The X9’s chip is positioned higher by model naming and the comparison’s specification framing, but the available evidence does not quantify a day-to-day speed advantage. Avoid choosing based on an isolated benchmark score: results depend on the test and conditions, and no comparable independent performance testing is established here.
Which phone has the better cameras?
Both have three rear cameras rated at 50MP, including an ultra-wide and telephoto camera. The reported main-sensor distinction is Sony LYT-808 in the Find X9 versus LYT-700 in the X9s, according to the comparison. OPPO’s X9s specification page lists optical image stabilization on its main and telephoto cameras.

A sensor name or megapixel count alone cannot establish better photos across daylight, low light, moving subjects or video. No hands-on camera comparison is available here, so treat the hardware difference as a specification distinction rather than proof that the X9 takes better pictures in every situation.

The published figures put both phones at 7,025mAh and 80W wired charging. The Find X9 adds reported 50W AirVOOC wireless charging, a concrete advantage if you already use a compatible wireless charger or want to charge without plugging in. These specifications do not establish real-world battery endurance or charging times under particular conditions.

How much do they cost in India?
At the launch-era figures, the Find X9 was reported ₹5,000 cheaper than the X9s at both matching storage tiers:
- 12GB/256GB: X9s at ₹79,999, announced by OPPO India May 21, 2026; X9 at ₹74,999, reported by 91mobiles May 22, 2026.
- 12GB/512GB: X9s at ₹89,999, announced by OPPO India May 21, 2026; X9 at ₹84,999, reported by 91mobiles May 22, 2026.
These are dated launch-era figures, not live prices. OPPO said the X9s would go on sale in India from May 26, 2026 through its e-store, Flipkart, Amazon and mainline retail outlets. That announcement does not establish current stock, discounts or pricing; compare the exact storage variant at the time you buy.

Which phone should you buy?
Choose the Find X9 if…
- Its current price is the same as or below the X9s and you value wireless charging.
- You prefer its Dimensity 9500 chipset or want the larger main sensor reported in the comparison, while recognizing that neither specification alone guarantees a measurable real-world advantage.
- You give weight to the longer software-support commitment reported by 91mobiles, but want to confirm OPPO’s current official policy before making support the deciding factor.
Choose the Find X9s if…
- Its current offer is materially cheaper than the X9.
- You prefer one of its available colors or find a better combination of price and local availability.
- You want a similar screen size, refresh rate and three-camera, 50MP-per-camera setup on paper, and do not need wireless charging.
If prices are equal, the X9’s added wireless charging and higher-tier chipset make it the more compelling specification choice for buyers who will use those advantages. If the X9s costs less, weigh the savings against the X9’s wireless charging and the software-support difference reported by the comparison.
What should India buyers check before ordering?
- Confirm the exact model, RAM and storage variant, the seller, current price and return terms.
- Check the included accessories on the seller’s listing. OPPO’s India specification page lists a protective case in the box, but contents can vary by market and product.
- Do not assume India pricing, warranty, network-band support or box contents apply in another country. OPPO notes that specifications may vary by market; check the local product page and retailer for the version being sold.
For reference, OPPO’s India page identifies the X9s as model CPH2873, lists LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.1 storage and no phone storage-card support. It also lists a 32MP front camera, Gorilla Glass 7i, ColorOS 16, approximate dimensions of 15.70×7.39×0.80cm and weight of about 202g. Those details are specific to the listed India product and do not establish specifications for every market.
