For buyers in India, the OPPO Find X9 is the bigger phone with more rear cameras, a higher stated battery capacity and wireless charging. The vivo X300 FE is smaller and lighter, has a 50MP selfie camera and lists faster wired charging. Neither is better across the board. The right pick depends on screen size, how often you use the ultrawide camera, whether you need wireless charging, and what you pay on the day you buy.
Quick verdict by buyer priority
- Choose the OPPO Find X9 if you want a larger 6.74-inch display, a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP telephoto with optical image stabilisation, a higher typical battery figure and 50W wireless charging.
- Choose the vivo X300 FE if you want a more compact, lighter phone, a 50MP autofocus front camera, a 50MP telephoto with optical image stabilisation and the higher maximum wired charging figure (90W FlashCharge).
- Compare the price on the day you buy. The official OPPO launch prices date from November 2025, and the vivo prices below are retailer listings that change without notice.
Specifications side by side (India models)
The figures below come from each manufacturer’s published India specifications. They describe what the hardware is declared to be, not how it performs in use.
| Area | OPPO Find X9 | vivo X300 FE | What the difference means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.74-inch (16.74 cm) flexible AMOLED, 2760 × 1256, up to 120Hz, 460ppi | 6.31-inch AMOLED, 2640 × 1216, 120Hz, 460ppi | The Find X9 has the larger screen. Both list the same refresh rate and pixel density. |
| Processor | MediaTek Dimensity 9500 | Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 | Different chip platforms. The specifications do not show which is faster in real use. |
| Rear cameras | 50MP main (OIS), 50MP ultrawide, 50MP telephoto (OIS), 2MP monochrome | 50MP main (OIS), 50MP telephoto (OIS), 8MP fixed-focus ultrawide | The Find X9 lists a higher-resolution ultrawide and adds a monochrome sensor. The X300 FE uses a lower-resolution ultrawide. |
| Front camera | 32MP | 50MP autofocus | The X300 FE lists more selfie resolution and autofocus. |
| Battery (typical / rated) | 7,025mAh typical / 6,840mAh rated | 6,500mAh typical / 6,350mAh rated | The Find X9 lists more capacity under both figures. |
| Charging | Up to 80W wired (SUPERVOOC or UFCS); up to 50W wireless (AIRVOOC) | Up to 90W wired (FlashCharge); no wireless figure in the specifications checked | The X300 FE lists the higher wired wattage. Only the Find X9 lists wireless charging. |
| Dimensions | About 157.0 × 73.9 × 8.0 mm | 150.83 × 71.76 × 7.99 mm | The X300 FE is shorter and narrower. |
| Weight | About 203g | 191g (excludes protective films, per vivo’s product page) | The X300 FE is lighter by the manufacturers’ figures, and the two weights were not measured under the same conditions. |
| Memory and storage | 12GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB, LPDDR5X, UFS 4.1 | 12GB+256GB shown in vivo’s India store; other memory variants listed on product pages; LPDDR5X Ultra, UFS 4.1 | Confirm the exact RAM and storage combination before comparing prices. |
| Software | ColorOS 16 (launch context from OPPO’s India announcement) | OriginOS 6, Android 16 | Update commitments are not compared here; check them with the seller. |
| Water and dust protection | IP66, IP68 and IP69 listed on OPPO’s official Find X9 page for the series | IP68 and IP69 | Both are rated for water and dust resistance. The ratings do not show how the phones handle everyday drops. |
Display and size
The Find X9’s screen is about 0.43 inches larger on the diagonal. That gap is the most visible difference between the two. The X300 FE is also about 6.5 mm shorter and 12 grams lighter according to vivo’s own measurements. If you use the phone one-handed or keep it in a small pocket, the smaller body is the practical advantage. If you watch video or read long pages, the Find X9’s larger display is the advantage.
Cameras
Both phones use 50MP main and telephoto cameras with optical image stabilisation. The differences are in the ultrawide, the monochrome sensor and the front camera.

- 163.2 x 77.0 x 8.7 mm or 9.1 mm
Rear cameras
The Find X9 lists a 50MP ultrawide, so wide-angle shots have the same resolution as the main camera. The X300 FE’s ultrawide is an 8MP fixed-focus unit. That is lower resolution, and the fixed focus means it does not refocus. The Find X9 also adds a 2MP monochrome sensor. Its listed resolution is low, so treat it as a specialised extra rather than a second main camera.
Front camera
The X300 FE lists a 50MP autofocus selfie camera. The Find X9 lists 32MP. Higher pixel counts do not guarantee better selfies, because sensor size, lens and processing matter too. If you rely on selfies, look at sample photos taken under your own lighting.

Battery and charging
Both brands list a typical battery figure and a lower rated figure. The Find X9’s numbers are 7,025mAh typical and 6,840mAh rated. The X300 FE’s are 6,500mAh typical and 6,350mAh rated. For a conservative comparison, use the rated figure. The Find X9 leads on both.

The X300 FE’s listed wired maximum is 90W, compared with 80W for the Find X9. Those are maximums that need the phone’s own proprietary charging protocol. A generic USB-C charger does not reach them. Before buying a charger, check that it supports the protocol the phone lists. Only the Find X9 has a wireless figure in these specifications, at up to 50W with AIRVOOC. If you often charge on a wireless pad or stand, that is the main charging difference in the Find X9’s favour.

Price difference
There is no single, stable price gap between these two phones. The figures below come from different dates, sellers and storage variants, so they cannot be compared directly.
Official OPPO launch prices

- The figures above are manufacturer specifications. They do not show battery life, image quality, charging time, sustained performance or durability under real use.
- No hands-on test results are included here. A higher megapixel count or battery figure does not confirm a better experience.
- OPPO’s launch announcement calls the Find X9 a phone that “continues to redefine what users can expect from a flagship smartphone,” said Peter Dohyung Lee, Head of Product Strategy, OPPO. That is promotional wording from the company, not independent evaluation.
Buyer checklist
- Hold or view both phones if possible. The 0.43-inch screen difference and the weight gap change how a phone feels.
- Decide how often you use the ultrawide camera and the selfie camera. These are the main camera differences.
- Decide whether you need wireless charging. Only the Find X9 lists it.
- If you want fast wired charging, buy the charger that the phone’s listed protocol requires, and confirm it is compatible.
- Pick the RAM and storage combination you need, and compare prices for that exact variant.
- Check the local warranty and the software update commitment with the seller or manufacturer.
- Check the live price from authorised sellers on the day you buy. Prices and promotions change often.
Specification sources are OPPO India’s official launch announcement (18 November 2025), OPPO’s Find X9 product page and vivo’s India product and store pages. Retailer price figures reflect the sources and dates shown in the table above.
