The OPPO Find X9 and TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G take different approaches: OPPO lists a triple 50MP rear-camera system with a periscope telephoto, a 7,025mAh battery and 80W wired charging; TECNO lists a larger 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display and a 6,500mAh battery. Which costs less depends on your country, seller, date and storage configuration, so there is no reliable universal price difference.

Specifications are manufacturer-listed figures; regional variants may differ. The brightness figures use vendor methods that may not be directly comparable, and the listed specifications do not establish a measured performance, camera-quality or battery-life winner. How the processors and displays compare
Chipsets
The Find X9 is specified with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500, while TECNO lists the Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G, a 4nm octa-core chip rated up to 2.6GHz. These are different platforms, but chipset names alone do not establish how much faster one phone is in everyday use. A sound speed comparison would require comparable independent testing, which these specifications do not provide.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Screen size and refresh rate
TECNO lists the larger display: 6.78 inches versus 6.59 inches, with a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz instead of 120Hz. Those figures favor the POVA 8 Pro if you specifically want a larger screen or higher listed refresh rate. Peak-brightness figures—4,500 nits for TECNO and up to 3,600 nits peak outdoor brightness for OPPO—may use different measurement methods, so they should not be treated as a direct brightness ranking.

Camera systems: a dedicated telephoto on the Find X9
OPPO lists three 50MP rear cameras, including a periscope telephoto, alongside a True Color Camera. TECNO lists a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. That makes the Find X9 the one with a dedicated telephoto in its listed rear setup; the specification counts do not, by themselves, prove which phone takes better photos.
TECNO’s product page also promotes “6-Year Battery Health” and describes restoring “+1% battery health every 200 charges.” Those are manufacturer claims, not independently verified measurements. (TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G product information)

Battery capacity and charging
OPPO lists a 7,025mAh battery with 80W wired, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging. TECNO lists 6,500mAh and 45W Super Charge over USB-C. On the published specifications, OPPO offers greater stated capacity and higher wired charging wattage, as well as wireless charging options. These ratings do not establish real-world battery life or charge duration; both depend on usage and conditions. (OPPO Find X9 specifications; TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G specifications)

A dependable current price gap cannot be stated without a country and same-date prices for matched storage configurations. Retail prices can vary with seller, tax, promotions and stock. Compare the same RAM/storage capacity in the same market at the same time, then subtract the lower price from the higher one. A historical India launch announcement is not current pricing evidence, and dynamic comparison-page prices are not a verified matched pair.

Which phone fits your priorities?
- Choose the Find X9 based on its listed features if you want a dedicated periscope telephoto camera, greater stated battery capacity, faster listed wired charging, wireless charging, or documented IP ratings.
- Consider the POVA 8 Pro based on its listed features if a larger 144Hz display, lower listed weight and thickness, or its specific local price matters more to you.
- For value, compare local matched prices for the RAM and storage versions you would actually buy. The specifications alone cannot identify the better-value phone.
