The OPPO Find X9 Pro is a conventional flagship phone with a camera-focused specification sheet and a larger stated battery; the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is a foldable built around an 8-inch inner display. Choose OPPO if you want a standard phone shape and prioritize its listed camera hardware and charging figures. Choose Samsung if you will make regular use of the much larger unfolded screen. A current price winner cannot be established from the available same-market evidence.
How these phones differ in everyday use
This is a choice between phone formats, not two directly interchangeable slabs. OPPO’s Find X9 Pro has one 17.23 cm conventional display. Samsung’s Z Fold8 Ultra opens to an 8.0-inch screen and also has a 6.5-inch cover display for use when folded. The larger inner screen can suit reading, media, or keeping more content visible, while OPPO keeps the experience of a conventional phone. Those are use-case inferences from the published display formats, not results of comparative productivity or durability testing.
For the cited models, Samsung specifies a 215g weight and dimensions of 158.4 × 143.2 × 4.1mm unfolded and 158.4 × 72.8 × 8.9mm folded. OPPO lists its Find X9 Pro at about 224g and approximately 16.13 × 7.65 × 0.83cm. The folded Samsung is slightly lighter and narrower in those specifications, but the phones’ shapes and the foldable hinge make raw dimensions an incomplete guide to pocket comfort.

Which phone has the better camera specifications?
OPPO publishes more camera detail in the cited material: its rear system includes a 200MP stabilized telephoto camera, alongside 50MP wide and ultra-wide cameras and a 2MP monochrome sensor. That makes the Find X9 Pro’s paper camera specification compelling, but megapixel counts and stabilization alone do not establish which phone takes better photos. A matched camera test and comparable sample images would be needed to declare a winner. The Samsung camera details cited here are not complete enough for a full head-to-head comparison.
Battery capacity and charging: what the figures do—and don’t—show
OPPO lists a 7500mAh typical battery capacity (7290mAh rated), compared with Samsung’s 5000mAh typical capacity. OPPO also specifies charging up to 80W wired and 50W wireless. These figures favor OPPO on stated capacity and charging rates, but they do not prove longer real-world battery life: the Samsung page’s claim of up to 27 hours of wireless video playback is a different measure, and neither figure is a same-protocol endurance test. Actual use depends on factors such as network, display settings, software, and workload.

Which one costs less?
A reliable current price difference is not established. OPPO’s UAE launch announcement dated 29 October 2025 gave an AED 4,499 launch price for a 16GB + 512GB configuration. TechRadar reported UK and Australian review-time prices of £1,099 and AU$2,299, respectively. Those historical prices apply to different markets and are not directly comparable with a current Samsung retail price. Before deciding on value, compare the two phones in the same country, for the same date and storage tier, with taxes and retailer type accounted for.

Availability, warranty, and what to check before buying
Availability and warranty coverage depend on market. TechRadar reported that the Find X9 Pro was unavailable through official US channels at review time and was available in the UK and Australia; that is a dated report, not a guarantee of current stock. Check each manufacturer’s official local site, local warranty terms, and repair support before importing or buying from a third-party seller. Also confirm the precise storage configuration and model being offered: the cited OPPO India listing is 16GB/512GB, while the cited Samsung UK and India pages identify 256GB configurations.

How to make the choice
- Pick the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra if the value of an 8-inch unfolded display for reading, viewing content, or multitasking outweighs having a conventional single-screen phone.
- Pick the Find X9 Pro if you prefer the standard phone format and are drawn to OPPO’s listed 200MP stabilized telephoto, larger stated battery capacity, or faster stated charging rates.
- Compare real camera samples and battery tests if image quality or endurance is your deciding factor; the specifications here do not provide a matched head-to-head result.
- Check local pricing and support before treating either as the better deal, especially if buying across markets or importing.
