OPPO announced global availability for the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro on October 28, 2025, with sales beginning in early November. The phones introduce OPPO’s new-generation Hasselblad Master Camera System and larger silicon-carbon batteries, while the Pro model adds a 200MP telephoto camera, a larger display and a higher-capacity battery. Exact sale dates, prices, colors and storage options depend on the country.
What OPPO launched
The Find X9 series consists of the standard Find X9 and the higher-end Find X9 Pro. OPPO presented both as global flagship smartphones built around its LUMO Image Engine, Hasselblad camera processing, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 platform and ColorOS 16.
OPPO announced the global debut for a Barcelona event on October 28, 2025, then said worldwide availability would start in early November. That announcement does not establish one universal release date: OPPO states that retail timing, pricing and configurations vary by region.

What is new in the Find X9 camera system?
Find X9’s three 50MP rear cameras
The Find X9 uses a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.4-inch Sony LYT-808 sensor, a 50MP autofocus ultrawide and a 50MP periscope telephoto with a 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT600 sensor. OPPO also lists a True Color Camera intended to support colour measurement and rendering across the imaging system.
Find X9 Pro’s larger main sensor
The Pro replaces the standard model’s main sensor with a customised 1/1.28-inch Sony LYT 828. A larger sensor can provide more light-gathering area, but the launch announcement contains no independent image-quality measurements, so camera performance should not be inferred from sensor size alone.
The 200MP Hasselblad telephoto
The most significant hardware difference is the Pro’s 200MP Hasselblad telephoto. OPPO identifies it as a 3x camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and a 10cm minimum focus distance. OPPO says its Active Optical Alignment process increases resolution by 15%; that is an OPPO claim rather than an independent test result.
OPPO says the 200MP sensor can deliver high-quality lossless zoom to 13.2x by cropping the sensor. Its Super Zoom algorithm is advertised as enhancing clarity up to 120x. These figures describe OPPO’s processing modes and should not be read as equivalent to native optical magnification at every zoom level.

Video and the optional teleconverter
Both phones support 4K 120fps Dolby Vision HDR recording on their main cameras. OPPO says the Find X9 Pro also supports that mode on its 200MP telephoto.
The Pro has an optional Hasselblad Teleconverter. OPPO describes it as turning the phone into a 10x optical super-zoom system. Launch-period reporting said the lens attaches to a mount on a dedicated photography case. It is an accessory, not a standard phone-box item; confirm the compatible case, mount and package contents for the specific regional listing.
LUMO Image Engine: OPPO’s efficiency claims
OPPO says its LUMO Image Engine can reduce CPU usage by up to 50%, memory use by 60% and imaging power consumption by 50%. The company attributes those figures to OPPO Lab. They are pipeline-efficiency claims, not results from an independent benchmark or a guarantee of a particular battery runtime.

OPPO’s October 16 announcement said both phones can last “up to two days” with average use. That is the manufacturer’s usage claim; screen brightness, network conditions, camera use, gaming and regional software can produce different results.
OPPO says the third-generation silicon-carbon batteries contain 15% silicon and are engineered to retain more than 80% of their original capacity after five years of typical use. OPPO Lab is the stated source for this figure, so it should be treated as a company durability claim rather than an independently verified guarantee.
Display, durability and software
The global specification lists a 120Hz display, up to 3,600 nits of peak outdoor brightness and a 1-nit minimum brightness. The Pro’s panel is 6.78 inches; the Find X9’s is 6.59 inches.

OPPO’s global release lists three Find X9 memory/storage combinations—12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB and 16GB+512GB—and one Find X9 Pro combination, 16GB+512GB. OPPO explicitly says these choices can change by region.
For context, OPPO UAE announced the 16GB+512GB Find X9 Pro at AED 4,499 on October 29, 2025, with preorders from November 7 and first sale on November 14. That UAE launch offer included a magnetic protective case, a magnetic 50W wireless charger, a 12-month extended warranty and screen-protection plan. It was a historical UAE promotion, not a current worldwide price or a promise that the same bundle is available elsewhere.

Which Find X9 should you choose?
Choose Find X9 if
- You want the three-camera Hasselblad system but do not need the Pro’s 200MP telephoto.
- You prefer a smaller 6.59-inch display.
- You want more global storage choices, including a 256GB option where your market lists it.
- The standard model is substantially cheaper in your country.
Choose Find X9 Pro if
- Long-range photography, close-focus telephoto work or high-resolution cropping is the priority.
- You want the larger 6.78-inch screen and 7,500mAh battery.
- You may use the optional Hasselblad Teleconverter and are prepared to buy the required case or mount separately.
- Your market’s Pro bundle, warranty and pricing justify the premium.
What remains unproven at launch
- No independent battery-life test establishes how long either phone lasts in a controlled workload.
- No independent camera comparison verifies the claimed 15% resolution increase, 13.2x lossless zoom or 120x Super Zoom clarity.
- Regional release dates, prices, colours, storage configurations and bundled accessories are not universal.
The Bottom Line
The Find X9 Pro is the camera-led upgrade, combining a larger main sensor, a 200MP 3x Hasselblad telephoto and the option of a dedicated 10x teleconverter. The standard Find X9 retains a full 50MP triple-camera setup and a slightly smaller body, while both phones share the same charging system, software generation and core flagship platform. Because OPPO’s pricing and configurations vary by market, the right choice depends on the local premium and whether the Pro’s telephoto hardware matters to you.
