Choose an OPPO Find X if the model available in your market gives you the camera hardware, battery capacity or charging features you value most; choose a Samsung Galaxy S if you prioritize Samsung’s documented long-term software support and its Galaxy AI and device ecosystem. There is no single winner across these families, and specifications alone cannot establish which takes better photos or lasts longer in everyday use.
This comparison covers the globally announced OPPO Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, plus the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra announced for India, against Samsung’s Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra. Availability, configurations and prices vary by country, so compare models sold in your market rather than treating either family name as one phone.
Start by matching the model tier and your priorities
The Find X9, X9 Pro, X9s and X9 Ultra differ from one another, just as the Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra do. A useful comparison begins with the two specific models you can buy locally, then weighs the features you will actually use.
- Lean toward OPPO if the Find X9 Pro’s high-resolution telephoto camera, optional dedicated teleconverter, or the Find X9 models’ published battery capacities suit your needs.
- Lean toward Samsung if a clearly stated update commitment, Galaxy AI tools, or integration with Samsung devices and services matters more.
- Compare the exact model and local price before deciding: regional lineups and retail offers are not interchangeable.
These are manufacturer-announced specifications and features, not results from a controlled head-to-head review. They support a feature comparison, not a universal verdict on camera quality or real-world battery life.

How do the cameras compare?
OPPO Find X9 and Find X9 Pro
OPPO says the Find X9 has three 50MP rear cameras. The Find X9 Pro upgrades the main and telephoto hardware, including a 200MP Hasselblad telephoto camera described by OPPO as a 3× camera. OPPO also identifies an optional Hasselblad Teleconverter designed exclusively for the Find X9 Pro. These details are from OPPO’s global Find X9 launch announcement.
Samsung Galaxy S26 models
The Galaxy S26 Ultra has a 200MP main camera and separate 3× and 5× optical telephoto cameras. Samsung highlights stabilization, low-light video and APV workflow support for the Ultra. The S26 and S26+ have different camera setups, so do not assume the Ultra’s camera features apply to the whole S26 family. See Samsung’s global S26 specifications.
Megapixel counts and zoom labels describe hardware, not the quality of the resulting photos. If zoom is important, compare the focal lengths and camera features of the two specific models; do not infer that one produces better images from a headline number alone.

Battery capacity and charging are not the same as battery life
OPPO lists a 7,025mAh battery for the Find X9 and 7,500mAh for the Find X9 Pro, with up to 80W wired and 50W wireless charging for both. These are OPPO specifications, not independently measured endurance results.
Samsung lists a typical 5,000mAh battery for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Its US launch specification lists up to 60W wired and 25W wireless charging. Samsung cautions that actual battery life varies with factors such as network, features, apps and usage. The capacity figures are not a direct prediction of how long either phone lasts: everyday endurance depends on the complete device and how it is used.
For both brands, check the exact model’s local specification page for charging compatibility and what is included in the box. The figures above should not be generalized to every Find X or Galaxy S model.

Which brand offers the clearer software-support commitment?
Samsung explicitly says the Galaxy S26 family will receive seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates from global launch. That is a documented commitment for this family, stated in Samsung’s US S26 announcement.
OPPO’s cited global launch announcement names ColorOS 16 but does not state a comparable Find X9 family-wide update duration. That absence in the announcement is not proof that no policy exists. If update longevity is a deciding factor, check OPPO’s current support policy for the specific model and country before comparing it with Samsung’s stated commitment.
AI tools, ecosystem and everyday use
OPPO’s named ColorOS features
OPPO names AI Mind Space, AI Recorder, AI Portrait Glow and O+ Connect for Mac and Windows among the ColorOS 16 features announced with the Find X9 series. O+ Connect may be relevant if you want to move between an OPPO phone and a computer; the other names point to organization, recording and portrait-editing tools. Feature availability can vary, so confirm support for your language, region and device.

Samsung’s Galaxy AI and integrations
Samsung highlights Galaxy AI, Now Nudge, Now Brief, Circle to Search, Bixby, and integration with Gemini and Perplexity. These are a broad set of assistant, search and information features, but a feature name alone does not tell you whether it fits your workflow. Check which tools are available in your region and language and whether they work with the apps and services you use.
Samsung’s ecosystem may be a practical advantage if you already use compatible Galaxy devices or services. OPPO’s named Mac and Windows connection feature may matter more if your regular computer is from one of those platforms. Verify compatibility and feature availability for your own devices rather than assuming every ecosystem feature works everywhere.

OPPO says the Find X9 series has 120Hz displays and IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings. Samsung lists 120Hz displays and IP68 for the S26 Ultra; the base S26 is notably smaller and lighter than the Ultra. These family-level descriptions do not mean every model has the same dimensions or rating, so check the precise model if pocketability, one-handed use or water resistance matters.

IP ratings describe specified resistance conditions, not a guarantee against all water or dust exposure. Samsung notes that water resistance may diminish with wear. Treat a rating as a device specification, not permission to use a phone carelessly around liquids.

| India — OPPO, May 2026 | Find X9s, 12GB/256GB: INR 79,999; Find X9s, 12GB/512GB: INR 89,999; Find X9 Ultra, 12GB/512GB: INR 169,999 | India-specific prices and configurations in OPPO’s India announcement; not a current global price list. |

Before buying, check current local listings for the exact model, storage configuration, seller, warranty and return terms. Confirm that the model is officially sold and supported in your country; a price from another region does not establish local availability or value.
Quick Recap
Choose by the feature you will use most
- Choose an OPPO Find X9 Pro to investigate first if you want its 200MP 3× Hasselblad telephoto hardware, optional model-specific teleconverter, and published 7,500mAh battery with up to 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
- Choose a Galaxy S26 Ultra to investigate first if its 200MP main camera, 3× and 5× optical telephotos, or Samsung’s stated support commitment are priorities.
- Consider the standard Find X9 or Galaxy S26/S26+ if you do not need the top-tier model’s particular camera or other features; compare their own specifications rather than borrowing details from the Pro or Ultra.
- For India-based buyers, OPPO’s cited 2026 announcement includes the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra. Confirm local stock and current terms before comparing either with a Samsung model.
