The Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G has the higher-resolution display, an OIS-equipped main camera plus an ultrawide camera, and a larger listed battery. The OPPO F33 5G has the faster rated wired charging and a confirmed Indian launch-price list. A definitive current price gap cannot be established from the available manufacturer information: OPPO’s figures are launch prices, while Xiaomi’s cited specifications page does not list a price.

Price difference in India
OPPO announced launch prices of ₹31,999 for 6GB+128GB, ₹34,999 for 8GB+128GB and ₹37,999 for 8GB+256GB. These are launch figures, not confirmed live selling prices.
#1 Best Overall
- [360-degree rotatable ring mount] with multi-angle support, it makes watching videos and films both convenient and comfortable, offering an enviable viewing experience.
- 3D multi-directional shape change, depending on different light and angle
- PC hard back panel + soft silicone frame + four corners Shock Airbags
- The frosted surface prevents most fingerprints and the 3D design is stylish
- The ring mount features a magnetic ring, allowing you to use it in your car or for other magnetic applications
The Xiaomi India specifications page cited here lists 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations but does not provide a price. A 91mobiles comparison page reports ₹36,999 for the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G, but that secondary figure is time-sensitive and is not confirmation from Xiaomi or a live retailer check. It should not be treated as a definitive current price.
For a useful price comparison, check both phones at the same time, in the same Indian market, and match storage: compare 8GB+128GB with 8GB+128GB, or 8GB+256GB with 8GB+256GB. The available figures do not establish today’s price difference. Sources: OPPO India and 91mobiles’ comparison listing.

Which phone has the better display?
The Xiaomi’s published display specification is more detailed and higher-resolution: it lists a 1.5K panel at 2,772 × 1,280, compared with OPPO’s 6.57-inch AMOLED panel, for which the cited announcement does not state a resolution. Both manufacturers list refresh rates up to 120Hz. Xiaomi claims 3,500-nit peak brightness and OPPO claims 1,400 nits, but manufacturers may use different measurement methods, so those figures do not by themselves prove how the screens compare in everyday viewing.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsHow do the processors compare?
OPPO lists the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX built on a 6nm process; Xiaomi lists the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 built on a 4nm process. Chip names and manufacturing-process figures alone do not establish which phone is faster. No independent benchmark results are available here, so choose based on verified performance tests for the apps and games you use rather than assuming a winner from these specifications.

Which camera setup is more versatile?
Xiaomi lists a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide camera. OPPO lists 50MP and 2MP rear cameras; the cited announcement does not identify OIS or an ultrawide camera. On paper, Xiaomi therefore offers a specifically listed ultrawide option and stabilization on its main camera. That does not establish which phone takes better photos or video; image quality needs independent testing. Both manufacturers list a 16MP front camera.
Battery capacity and charging
Xiaomi lists a 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, compared with 7,000mAh for OPPO. OPPO lists the higher wired charging rating at 80W SUPERVOOC, versus Xiaomi’s 67W. Capacity and rated charging power are not tests of real-world runtime or time to full charge: actual results depend on usage, settings, temperature and charging conditions.
Rank #4
- Absorption of light and sunlight will produce a fluorescent effect in a dark environment.
- Adhesive metal finger ring support [you can choose to stick to Case, or separate use], 360 degree rotation + car bracket magnetic suction
- PC hard back panel + soft silicone frame + four corners Shock Airbags
- The back side is a combination of 4 layers: solid PC, ultra-high definition pattern layer, special process layer, clear and scratch-resistant surface layer
- Case is higher than the camera as well as the screen, providing better flat protection
Memory, storage and software
OPPO’s announced configurations include a 6GB+128GB option as well as 8GB models with either 128GB or 256GB storage. Xiaomi’s cited specifications list 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage. Check the exact variant before buying, since prices are only comparable when RAM and storage match.
Recommended Free Tools
The listed software is ColorOS 16 on the OPPO and HyperOS 3 | Android 16 on the Xiaomi. The cited manufacturer pages do not establish how many years of operating-system or security updates either phone will receive.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G if its listed 1.5K display, OIS-equipped main camera, ultrawide camera or larger battery are priorities.
- Consider the OPPO F33 5G if its 80W charging rating matters more to you, or if its confirmed launch-price options fit your budget after checking current listings.
- For a value decision, compare current prices for identical 8GB storage variants. The launch and secondary price figures above do not prove the current gap.
