Chipset names do not establish real-world speed
Motorola identifies the Edge 70 Fusion processor as Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and lists 8GB or 12GB RAM. OPPO’s cited product information lists 8GB RAM options but does not identify the F31 processor. Without comparable independent performance testing, these details cannot establish which phone runs apps or games faster. Motorola’s 12GB option may suit buyers who specifically want a higher listed RAM configuration, if that variant is available at a suitable price.

Battery, charging and durability claims
Both manufacturers list a 7,000mAh battery for their respective phones. OPPO’s F31-series launch materials specify 80W charging, compared with Motorola’s 68W TurboPower rating. Capacity and charging wattage alone do not establish actual battery life or time to charge; those depend on usage and charging conditions. OPPO’s launch announcement gives the base F31 a 16MP selfie camera; its 32MP mention applies to other F31-series models, not the base F31. The cited materials do not provide enough matching rear-camera specifications for a useful camera comparison, and megapixel counts alone would not establish image quality. OPPO lists ColorOS 15.0, while Motorola lists Android 16. The available specifications do not establish either phone’s software-update period or camera performance in real use.
