The OPPO F31 Pro+ 5G has a larger listed battery, faster maximum charging and more storage in its listed Indian configurations; Nothing’s Phone (4b) pairs a 50MP OIS main camera with an ultra-wide camera and a 120Hz Super AMOLED display. OPPO’s published Indian launch prices were ₹32,999 and ₹34,999, but the available official Nothing India product information does not state a price. That means a reliable current price difference cannot be calculated from these figures alone.

How the displays compare
OPPO: resolution and screen ratio are specified
OPPO lists a 17.27 cm FHD+ panel at 2800 × 1280 pixels and a 93.5% screen ratio. The cited specification information does not identify the panel technology or refresh rate, so those points cannot be compared from these figures.

Nothing: panel type and adaptive refresh rate are specified
Nothing lists a 6.77-inch Super AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. The cited India product information does not provide a resolution for a like-for-like comparison with OPPO’s stated pixel count. A maximum refresh-rate figure also does not mean the screen runs at 120Hz in every situation.
Battery capacity and charging
OPPO lists a 7000mAh typical battery capacity, with 6820mAh rated, and support for up to 80W SUPERVOOC charging. Nothing lists a 6000mAh battery for the Indian Phone (4b). Nothing’s global-facing materials give 5200mAh in other contexts; for this comparison, use the India-specific figure rather than blending regional specifications.

Nothing’s cited India material does not state a charging rate.

Camera hardware: compare the stated lenses, not just megapixels
Nothing specifies a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 119-degree ultra-wide camera. These details establish that its listed rear-camera setup includes both a stabilized main camera and an ultra-wide field of view. They do not establish image quality against OPPO: the cited OPPO specification material does not provide corresponding camera details, and megapixel count alone would not settle the comparison.

Storage options and the price difference in India
OPPO announced Indian launch prices of ₹32,999 for 8GB/256GB and ₹34,999 for 12GB/256GB when sales began on September 19, 2025. The announcement named retail stores, OPPO’s e-store, Flipkart and Amazon as launch sales channels. These are historical launch prices, not current quotes.
Nothing’s India product page shows an 8GB/128GB option and directs Indian shoppers to Flipkart, but the available page information does not state its price. The configurations also differ in storage: the listed OPPO models have 256GB, while Nothing’s shown option has 128GB. Because a current Nothing price is missing, neither the current price gap nor a storage-matched price comparison is established here. Third-party comparison results have shown inconsistent prices and should not be treated as a dependable substitute.

Nothing lists an IP64 rating for Phone (4b) and says: “With the new unibody, your phone is more bend resistant than our previous models.” The bend-resistance wording is Nothing’s own comparative claim, not a result from an independent bend or drop test. The cited material does not establish an equivalent OPPO rating or a comparable independent durability result, so it cannot support a durability winner.
Software and update support
Nothing identifies Android 16 with Nothing OS for Phone (4b). The cited OPPO material does not state a software version, and the available information does not establish comparable update durations for the two phones. Do not infer how long either model will receive updates from the operating-system version alone.
Quick Recap
Which phone fits your priorities?
- Choose the OPPO on paper if a larger stated battery capacity, up-to-80W charging support, or a listed 256GB storage configuration matters most. Actual endurance and charging time still require comparable tests.
- Consider Nothing if you want the explicitly listed Super AMOLED panel with adaptive refresh up to 120Hz, a 50MP OIS main camera and an ultra-wide camera. The specifications alone do not prove better image quality.
- Compare live prices before deciding if cost is central: OPPO’s cited prices are launch figures from 2025, and a current Nothing India price is not stated in its cited product information.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
