The India-market OPPO F29 5G (model CPH2721) comes in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations. OPPO’s launch prices on 20 March 2025 were ₹23,999 and ₹25,999, respectively. A later OPPO store event page displayed a starting price of ₹21,999 and a crossed/reference price of ₹28,999; those are page displays, not confirmed variant-specific checkout prices. Check the current listing before buying.
OPPO F29 5G price and availability in India
OPPO announced the F29 5G on 20 March 2025 and said it would be available from 27 March through its e-store, Flipkart, Amazon and mainline retail. The launch prices below are the prices OPPO announced for each storage variant, not verified current street prices. OPPO’s launch release is the primary source for those figures.

What the specifications mean for everyday use
Display
The listed 120Hz maximum refresh rate, AMOLED panel and FHD+ resolution describe the display hardware; actual refresh behavior can depend on settings and content. The 600-nit normal and 1200-nit HBM brightness figures are OPPO’s typical listings, not independent measurements.
Battery and charging
OPPO publishes both typical and rated battery capacities, so 6500mAh is not the only capacity figure: the rated capacity is 6330mAh. The page lists support for several charging standards but does not establish real-world charging time or battery endurance.

Cameras and performance
The rear setup pairs a 50MP wide camera with a 2MP monochrome camera; the front camera is 16MP. OPPO lists 4K recording at 30fps for the rear camera. The processor and camera specifications alone do not establish benchmark performance, image quality or results in particular apps.

Durability and water-use limits
OPPO describes the F29’s 360° Armour Body, liquid resistance and MIL-STD-810H-2022 testing as durability features. These are manufacturer claims and test descriptions, not a guarantee that every device will survive drops, impacts or liquid exposure in ordinary use. OPPO F29 product page

OPPO says the phone is not designed for professional diving and that water resistance may diminish over time. Its stated underwater-shooting limits are fresh water, no deeper than 1.5 metres and no longer than 30 minutes. OPPO warns against seawater use without a professional waterproof case and says damage resulting from noncompliance with its guidance is not covered by warranty. These conditions should not be read as permission for unrestricted water exposure.

OPPO lists a charger, USB cable, SIM ejector tool, quick guide and protective case with the phone, so a separate case is optional unless you want a different style or fit. OPPO also says the light-sensor opening is hidden at the top of the display; a dark or poorly transmissive screen protector can affect normal use. Confirm protector compatibility before applying one.
