The OPPO Find X8 is the more capable phone on published specifications; the OPPO F27 Pro+ 5G costs much less and is positioned around durability. OPPO India displayed starting prices of ₹69,999 for the Find X8 and ₹27,999 for the F27 Pro+ when its store was checked. Those starting configurations differ, so the headline price gap is not a like-for-like comparison. Choose the Find X8 for its flagship chipset, more versatile cameras and wireless charging; consider the F27 Pro+ if its lower price and IP66/IP68/IP69 ratings matter more.
Price difference: compare the storage variants
OPPO India announced the F27 Pro+ in June 2024 at ₹27,999 for 8GB + 128GB and ₹29,999 for 8GB + 256GB. The Find X8 was announced in India in November 2024 at ₹69,999 for 12GB + 256GB and ₹79,999 for 16GB + 512GB; sales were announced to begin December 3, 2024. These are launch prices, not necessarily current checkout prices.
At retrieval, OPPO’s official store displayed starting prices of ₹27,999 for the F27 Pro+ and ₹69,999 for the Find X8. The difference between those displayed starting prices is ₹42,000, but it compares 8GB + 128GB with 12GB + 256GB, not matching storage configurations. Store prices, stock and offers can change; check the exact variant, seller and checkout total before buying.

Performance and storage: Find X8 has the stronger platform
The Find X8’s Dimensity 9400, LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage are higher-tier published specifications than the F27 Pro+’s Dimensity 7050, LPDDR4X and UFS 3.1. That makes the Find X8 the stronger choice on paper for demanding apps and multitasking, though these specifications alone do not establish a particular real-world speed difference. No directly comparable benchmark result is available here.

Storage also differs at the entry level: the F27 Pro+ starts at 128GB, while the Find X8 starts at 256GB. That additional capacity is relevant when comparing their base prices, rather than treating the two starting configurations as equivalent.

Cameras: Find X8 offers more shooting options
Find X8’s three 50MP rear cameras cover main, ultrawide and telephoto roles. OPPO lists optical image stabilization on the main and telephoto cameras, autofocus on the ultrawide, and up to 3× optical zoom. The F27 Pro+ lists a 64MP main camera and a 2MP portrait/depth camera, without an ultrawide or telephoto lens in its published rear-camera specification.
That configuration gives Find X8 more lens choices, but megapixel counts do not prove which phone takes better photographs. The cited specifications do not establish comparative camera-test results. For selfies, OPPO lists a 32MP front camera on Find X8 and an 8MP front camera on F27 Pro+.

Find X8 supports up to 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging; F27 Pro+ lists 67W SUPERVOOC wired charging. Capacity and charging ratings do not establish battery life or actual charging time, which can depend on usage and conditions.

OPPO lists IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for F27 Pro+, and IP68 and IP69 for Find X8. These are manufacturer-listed ratings, not a guarantee against every kind of water or dust exposure; follow OPPO’s care guidance and do not treat a rating as permission to deliberately expose a phone to water.
OPPO’s F27 Pro+ page lists ColorOS 14.0. At Find X8’s India launch, OPPO said it ran ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 and would receive four years of OS updates and six years of security updates. That stated support commitment applies to Find X8 as described at launch; the cited material does not establish a matching F27 Pro+ update-duration commitment.
Which OPPO phone should you buy?
- Choose Find X8 if you prioritize the stronger published chipset and memory/storage platform, a higher-resolution screen, ultrawide and telephoto cameras, optical stabilization, wireless charging, or the stated update commitment.
- Choose F27 Pro+ 5G if the lower displayed starting price is the priority and its listed IP66/IP68/IP69 ratings and curved display fit your needs. It has a lower starting storage configuration and a less versatile listed rear-camera system.
The Find X8 is the hardware-focused choice; the F27 Pro+ is the lower-priced, durability-positioned alternative. Decide using the exact variant and current checkout price, not just the two store starting figures.
