The vivo X300 FE is the more advanced option on paper, with a sharper AMOLED display, a flagship-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform, and three rear cameras including a stabilized telephoto. The OPPO A6 offers a larger screen and a higher stated battery capacity, but “OPPO A6” refers to different regional models: the Philippines CPH2817 is a 4G phone, while India’s CPH2785 is the A6 5G. There is no valid universal price difference; compare the exact model, storage, country, and date.
First identify which OPPO A6 you mean
OPPO’s A6 name covers regional variants with materially different hardware. The Philippines model, CPH2817, is listed with a Snapdragon 685 and 4G connectivity. India’s CPH2785 is the OPPO A6 5G, with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300. Do not treat either as a universal A6 specification sheet; confirm the model number and local network bands before buying.
How the listed specifications compare
The table compares the Philippines CPH2817 and India CPH2785 A6 variants with vivo’s India X300 FE listing. They are regional specifications, not a claim that every market sells these exact configurations.

Display: bigger on the A6, sharper on the X300 FE
Both listed A6 variants have a 6.75-inch screen, making them larger than the X300 FE’s 6.31-inch display. The X300 FE’s AMOLED panel has substantially higher resolution and pixel density: 2640 × 1216 at 460 ppi, versus 1570 × 720 at 256 ppi on the A6 listings. All three specifications list a refresh rate up to 120 Hz. Choose the A6 for screen size; choose the X300 FE if resolution and panel type matter more.

- 256GB Storage, 6GB RAM, microSDXC
- Android 15, ColorOS 15, Mediatek Dimensity 6300 (6 nm), Octa-core (2x2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55)

Performance and 5G depend on the A6 variant
The X300 FE’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is the highest-tier platform among these listed phones. The A6 versions are not interchangeable: CPH2817 uses a Snapdragon 685 and lists 4G bands, while CPH2785 uses a Dimensity 6300 and lists 5G NR bands. Those platform and network specifications are not independent speed tests. Check the exact SKU’s supported bands against your carrier, especially if importing a phone.
Battery capacity is not the same as battery life
OPPO lists a 7000 mAh typical battery for both cited A6 variants, compared with vivo’s 6500 mAh typical (6350 mAh rated) for the X300 FE. OPPO lists charging up to 45 W SUPERVOOC; vivo lists 90 W FlashCharge. Capacity alone cannot establish how long a phone lasts in real use, and these figures are manufacturer specifications rather than comparative runtime tests.

Camera hardware favors the X300 FE’s versatility
The A6 listings each specify a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP monochrome camera, plus an 8 MP front camera. The X300 FE lists a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50 MP stabilized telephoto, an 8 MP wide camera, and a 50 MP autofocus front camera. These configurations indicate more focal-length options on the vivo, but do not establish which phone takes better photos in a controlled comparison.
For added reach, vivo says its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 is compatible with the X300 FE and is purchased separately. Check local availability and compatibility details before ordering the accessory.

Compare prices within one market—not across currencies
The available listings do not establish a like-for-like price difference between an A6 and the X300 FE. For a meaningful comparison, use the same country, exact OPPO model, storage configuration, and comparison date. Taxes, promotions, and retailer pricing can change the result.
| Market and listing | Price context |
|---|---|
| Spain: OPPO A6, 6 GB + 256 GB | OPPO’s store listed €229; accessed in 2026, and the price may change |
| Spain: OPPO A6 4G and A6 5G launch reporting | Launch prices reported March 16, 2026 were €229 and €279 respectively for the configurations in that report; these are dated launch figures, not guaranteed current prices |
| Pakistan: vivo X300 FE | vivo product page listed Rs. 269,999; accessed in 2026, and the price may change |
| Philippines: vivo X300 FE | vivoGlobal product page listed ₱54,999; accessed in 2026, and the price may change |
These are observations from different listings and markets, not a direct comparison. In particular, do not subtract a Spain A6 price from a Pakistan or Philippines X300 FE price to claim a price gap.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the vivo X300 FE if you prioritize a compact, high-resolution AMOLED display, the strongest listed processor, 5G, faster stated charging, or a dedicated telephoto and wide rear camera setup.
- Consider the Philippines OPPO A6 CPH2817 if you want a larger screen and higher stated battery capacity and do not need 5G; verify the local price and exact resistance rating.
- Consider India’s OPPO A6 5G CPH2785 if you want the larger-screen A6 format with 5G support; confirm the local specification, storage, and price before comparing it with the X300 FE.
Before deciding, match the model number and storage, check network-band compatibility and water-resistance claims for your market, and compare current local prices. The spec sheets support a hardware comparison, not a tested-performance or battery-endurance verdict.
