Battery and charging: OnePlus has the larger listed capacity
The OnePlus is listed with an 8000 mAh battery and 80 W charging, compared with 7050 mAh and 44 W for the vivo. On paper, that gives the OnePlus the advantage in capacity and rated charging speed. Actual battery life and charging time depend on usage and conditions; the figures alone do not guarantee a particular result.

As a separate point of reference, 91mobiles reports PCMark battery-test durations of 18 hours 34 minutes for the OnePlus and 14 hours 42 minutes for the vivo. Those are that publisher’s benchmark results, not a promise of everyday screen time; results can vary with test conditions and use.
Display: vivo is marginally larger, both are listed at 144 Hz
The vivo’s listed display measures 6.83 inches, compared with 6.78 inches for the OnePlus. Both are listed with 144 Hz refresh rates, and their reported resolutions are close. The spec sheets do not establish which screen looks better in person, so consider size and your viewing preferences rather than treating a small difference in diagonal measurement as a quality verdict.
Performance, memory and storage
The phones use different chipsets: Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 in the OnePlus and Dimensity 7500 Turbo in the vivo. Gadgets360 lists 8 GB RAM for the OnePlus and 6 GB, 8 GB and 12 GB options for the vivo. Both are listed with 128 GB and 256 GB storage options. Confirm the precise RAM/storage variant offered by the retailer; availability may vary.
91mobiles reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 3,127 for the OnePlus and 3,261 for the vivo. These are comparison-site benchmark results, not independently reproduced testing for this article. A small difference in one synthetic benchmark does not predict performance for every app, game or workload.

Both phones are listed with a 50 MP main rear camera and a 32 MP front camera. The reported secondary rear module is 2 MP on the OnePlus and 8 MP on the vivo. These resolution figures do not tell you how well either phone handles low light, motion, portraits or video; no hands-on camera results are established here.
Software and update support
Both listings identify Android 16, with OxygenOS 16 on the OnePlus and OriginOS 6 on the vivo. 91mobiles lists two years of OS updates and four years of security updates for the OnePlus, versus three years of OS updates and five years of security updates for the vivo. Treat those durations as comparison-site listings rather than guaranteed support commitments: verify the applicable policy with the manufacturer for your region and specific model before purchase.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the OnePlus Nord CE 6 5G if its live price works for you and you prioritize the larger listed battery or higher rated charging speed.
- Consider the vivo T5 5G if it remains less expensive for the configuration you want, or you prefer its slightly larger screen and broader listed RAM choices.
- Compare exact variants before deciding: the vivo’s RAM lineup includes 6 GB and 12 GB options, while the OnePlus listing specifies 8 GB; both list 128 GB and 256 GB storage.
- Check the factors specs cannot settle—camera output, display preference and software-update commitment—against your own priorities and the manufacturer’s regional support information.
91mobiles reports launch dates of May 7, 2026 for the OnePlus and September 2, 2026 for the vivo. Its detailed OnePlus launch-date field gives May 7, while a separate summary line shows May 8, so the exact OnePlus date is not consistent across that page.
