The OnePlus Nord CE5 5G and realme P4 5G share a 6.77-inch-class display, 8MP secondary rear camera and advertised 80W wired charging, but their specifications favor different priorities. realme lists the faster 144Hz refresh rate and a 185g, 7.58mm body; OnePlus specifies a Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset, a 7,100mAh battery and optical image stabilization (OIS) on its 50MP main camera. There is no matched independent testing here to establish which phone is faster, takes better photos or lasts longer.
The prices also are not a like-for-like comparison: OnePlus India lists the Nord CE5 from ₹24,999, while a Flipkart listing showed the realme P4 6GB/128GB at ₹25,999 before offer conditions. Check the same RAM and storage configuration and the final checkout price before deciding.

Which phone has better performance?
On paper, the Nord CE5 has the more performance-oriented listed platform: OnePlus names the Dimensity 8350 Apex, with a stated maximum clock speed of 3.35GHz, and advertises LPDDR5X memory. realme lists the Dimensity 7400 Ultra, up to 2.6GHz, with LPDDR4X RAM. The P4 is available with 6GB or 8GB of RAM; OnePlus advertises up to 12GB for the Nord CE5.

Those differences do not establish how much faster one phone will feel in everyday apps or games. Clock speed alone is not a fair cross-chipset performance measure, and the available brand test claims are not a matched independent benchmark. For a purchase comparison, check the exact RAM configuration as well as the processor rather than treating the maximum RAM figure as the configuration every model includes.
How do their displays compare?
Both are listed in the 6.77-inch display class. The Nord CE5 is specified at 120Hz, while realme lists the P4 at 144Hz. The realme therefore has the higher stated refresh rate, which can allow supported content and compatible interfaces to update more frequently. It does not, by itself, establish that the screen is brighter, more color-accurate or easier to read outdoors. The cited specifications do not provide a controlled side-by-side display assessment.
Which phone has the better cameras?
The Nord CE5 specification explicitly includes OIS on its 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. OnePlus advertises video recording up to 4K at 60fps. realme lists a 50MP OV50D40 main camera with autofocus and an 8MP wide-angle camera, with 4K recording listed at 30fps. Its cited specifications do not state OIS.

If OIS or a particular recording mode matters to you, the stated Nord CE5 specification is the clearer fit; it is not proof that every photo or video will look better.
Battery capacity, charging and physical size
OnePlus specifies a 7,100mAh battery. realme lists 7,000mAh typical capacity and 6,830mAh minimum/rated capacity, so the figures are not expressed on exactly the same basis. Both manufacturers advertise 80W wired charging, branded SUPERVOOC by OnePlus and Ultra Charge by realme.
Battery capacity and charging ratings do not settle which phone lasts longer or charges faster in ordinary use. Each brand’s endurance claims rely on its own conditions rather than a shared test. Peak charging behavior also depends on the respective charging system; do not assume a third-party charger will deliver the advertised 80W.
realme gives the P4’s weight as 185g and thickness as 7.58mm. The cited OnePlus product information does not establish a comparable weight, so those figures are not enough to declare which phone is more comfortable to hold. The P4’s dimensions may matter if a slim, light phone is a priority.
What is the price difference in India?
OnePlus India lists the Nord CE5 from ₹24,999. A Flipkart listing showed the realme P4 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage at ₹25,999 before displayed offer conditions. On those two snapshots, the realme listing is ₹1,000 higher, but that is not a dependable like-for-like price difference: one is a starting price and the other is a specific marketplace variant, and offers can change the payable amount.
Other comparison pages show different prices for other variants and dates. Before buying, compare the same RAM and storage capacity, then check the seller, stock, warranty and final checkout price.
