How the screens and size differ
The Nord CE 4 has the larger display: 6.7 inches versus 6.31 inches on the X300 FE. Both are listed as AMOLED panels with refresh rates up to 120Hz. OnePlus specifies the Nord CE 4’s resolution as 2412 × 1080; the cited comparison listing does not state a resolution for the X300 FE, so a resolution-to-resolution comparison is not established here.
vivo lists the X300 FE at 150.83 × 71.76 × 7.99mm and 191g. Those figures give a concrete sense of its compact dimensions, but the cited OnePlus specification page does not provide Nord CE 4 dimensions or weight for a direct size-and-weight comparison.

Chipset, memory and storage
The listed platforms put the phones in different hardware tiers: Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Nord CE 4 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 in the X300 FE. That is a specification distinction, not proof of a particular speed advantage in everyday use, gaming or sustained workloads; that would require comparable testing.
The Nord CE 4 comes with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and either 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Its hybrid SIM slot can take a microSD card up to 1TB, which is useful if removable storage matters, although using that slot for a card affects the SIM configuration.
vivo lists LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for the X300 FE. Its store offers 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB configurations, and the product specifications say storage is not expandable. Check the exact variant before purchase: the larger storage choices come with different RAM configurations and prices.
Camera hardware: an extra telephoto lens on vivo
The Nord CE 4 has a 50MP main camera with optical and electronic image stabilization (OIS and EIS), plus an 8MP ultrawide camera. Its front camera is 16MP. The X300 FE listing includes a 50MP primary camera, 50MP telephoto and 8MP ultrawide, along with a 50MP front camera.

The additional telephoto camera gives the X300 FE a lens option absent from the Nord CE 4’s listed rear-camera setup. Megapixel counts and lens counts alone do not establish which phone takes better photos or video: image processing, lens characteristics and performance in different conditions matter too.
Battery capacity and charging claims
OnePlus lists a 5,500mAh typical battery and 100W SUPERVOOC charging for the Nord CE 4. vivo lists a larger 6,500mAh typical battery and 90W FlashCharge for the X300 FE. vivo notes that maximum advertised charging power requires the original charger and cable and varies with use.
These rated figures do not establish which phone lasts longer between charges or reaches a full charge sooner in real use. Battery life and charging time depend on conditions and usage, and the cited specifications are not comparative test results.

The available information therefore does not support a direct comparison of how long each phone will receive updates.

Price difference and availability
The price figures currently available are not like-for-like retail offers: OnePlus publishes Nord CE 4 MRPs for 8GB models, while vivo’s store display is for a 12GB X300 FE configuration. A third-party comparison page also shows prices, but marks the Nord CE 4 out of stock and does not establish that its listed X300 FE price or stock is still current.
| Listing | Configuration and price | What the figure means |
|---|---|---|
| OnePlus India specifications | 8GB+128GB: ₹24,999 MRP; 8GB+256GB: ₹26,999 MRP | Manufacturer-listed MRP, not necessarily the current selling price |
| vivo India E-store | Selected 12GB+256GB: ₹94,999 displayed; ₹119,999 MRP | Store page figures for the selected configuration; confirm the live listing before purchase |
| 91mobiles comparison listing | Nord CE 4: ₹19,900, marked out of stock; X300 FE: ₹89,999 at Amazon | Third-party snapshot; not proof of a current Amazon price, seller or availability |
Sources: OnePlus India specifications, vivo India E-store and 91mobiles comparison listing. Before buying, compare the same RAM and storage capacity, check the seller and stock status, and use the live checkout price rather than treating an MRP or third-party snapshot as a current offer.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the OnePlus Nord CE 4 if
- You prefer a larger 6.7-inch display.
- You want microSD expansion up to 1TB.
- You are considering the lower manufacturer-listed starting MRP, while recognizing that the live retail price may differ.
Consider the vivo X300 FE if
- You prefer the smaller 6.31-inch screen and the compact dimensions vivo lists.
- You value its listed Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform and additional 50MP telephoto camera.
- You want the larger stated battery capacity or a 512GB storage configuration, and are comfortable without expandable storage.
The X300 FE’s displayed store price is substantially higher than the Nord CE 4’s listed MRP, but that is not a direct retail-price comparison because the configurations and price types differ. Match the variants and check live offers against your budget before deciding.
