The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite is the stronger fit if you want a newer chipset, 144Hz display, larger stated battery and 4K rear video. The Nord CE 3 Lite 5G counters with 67W charging, a 108MP main camera sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Neither is an automatic winner: the best choice depends on matched-configuration prices, your priorities and what is in stock in India.

What changes in everyday use?
Display: 144Hz versus 120Hz
The CE6 Lite lists a 144Hz refresh rate, compared with 120Hz on the CE 3 Lite. A higher refresh rate can make supported scrolling and animations look smoother, though the difference depends on the content and settings. OnePlus claims 1000-nit peak brightness for the CE6 Lite. Do not assume it is OLED: the cited official material does not confirm that panel type.
Performance and storage
The CE6 Lite moves from the CE 3 Lite’s Snapdragon 695 5G and UFS 2.2 storage to a Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset and UFS 3.1. That is a newer advertised platform and storage standard, but the cited material does not provide a matched independent benchmark. Any performance score from OnePlus should be treated as a manufacturer test, not an independent comparison.

Built-in 64GB storage with expansion up to 256GB via microSD card
Battery size and charging speed
The CE6 Lite has the larger stated battery capacity: 7000mAh versus 5000mAh. OnePlus says the CE6 Lite can provide up to two days of power under its stated conditions; that is a manufacturer claim, not a comparative battery test. The CE 3 Lite lists faster charging wattage, 67W versus 45W. Capacity and charging wattage describe different things, so neither alone establishes real-world battery life or charging time.
Cameras: resolution is not a quality verdict
The CE 3 Lite lists a 108MP main sensor, while the CE6 Lite lists a 50MP main camera and advertises 4K/30fps rear video. The CE 3 Lite’s official specification page lists recording up to 1080p. More megapixels do not by themselves prove better photos, and the available specifications do not establish which phone takes better pictures overall.
Rank #2

India prices and the price difference
Prices are not a clean like-for-like comparison: the cited CE 6 Lite launch configurations have 128GB storage, while the CE 3 Lite’s cited OnePlus MRPs are for 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB. Retailer listings are time-sensitive and may not represent the price available to you now.

Software support, SIMs and other practical differences
Software-update commitment
OnePlus states that the CE 3 Lite has at least two Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates from its 2023 launch. The consulted CE6 Lite product material names OxygenOS 16 but does not establish an equivalent update-duration guarantee. The CE 3 Lite commitment is measured from launch, not from the date you buy it.
Headphones and expandable storage
The CE 3 Lite has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a hybrid SIM/microSD slot; OnePlus advertises microSD expansion up to 1TB. The CE6 Lite supports advertised expansion up to 2TB, but its card slot shares one of two SIM slots. Check the exact regional configuration if you need two SIMs and a memory card at the same time.
Durability rating
OnePlus lists IP64 dust and splash resistance for the CE6 Lite in the product-page disclaimer. That is not a claim that the phone is waterproof. The cited CE 3 Lite material does not establish a comparable IP rating.

Which OnePlus Nord should you buy?
- Choose the Nord CE6 Lite if you value the 144Hz display, newer chipset and storage standard, larger stated battery, or advertised 4K rear video—and its current price works for your budget.
- Consider the Nord CE 3 Lite if you find a genuinely lower current price, want a 3.5mm headphone jack, prefer its stated 67W charging, or specifically value a 108MP main sensor.
- Before paying, compare the same RAM and storage configuration, seller, warranty and stock. Do not treat launch prices or a dated lowest listing as a guaranteed offer today.
