The OnePlus Nord 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 serve different priorities: the Nord 6 is a conventional phone focused on a large battery and fast charging, while the Fold8 opens into a larger, tablet-like screen. There is no reliable, like-for-like price difference to quote without choosing a country, storage tier, seller and date.
How the two phones differ
The most important distinction is the format. The Nord 6 has a flat AMOLED display; Samsung’s book-style Fold8 has a 5.5-inch cover screen for folded use and a 7.6-inch inner screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio when opened. That larger workspace is the Fold8’s defining advantage, while the Nord 6’s listed battery and charging specifications favor buyers prioritizing capacity and wired charging speed.

Which display suits you?
Choose the Nord 6 for a conventional phone screen
The Nord 6’s flat 165Hz AMOLED display keeps the experience in a familiar single-screen phone format. OnePlus also markets 165 FPS gaming, but that claim is not an independent head-to-head performance result.

Choose the Fold8 for a larger unfolded workspace

Battery and charging: what the figures establish
OnePlus lists a 9000mAh battery and 80W wired charging for the Nord 6. Samsung lists 4800mAh and 45W wired charging for the Fold8; Samsung also claims up to 26 hours of continuous video playback under its stated test conditions. These are manufacturer specifications and a vendor playback claim, not a controlled comparison of real-world battery life. Battery capacity alone does not establish which phone will last longer in a particular person’s use.

Performance and cameras
Performance
OnePlus identifies a Snapdragon 8 series platform, while Samsung specifies Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. The available information does not establish a controlled, independent Nord 6 versus Fold8 benchmark, so processor labels and OnePlus’s gaming claim should not be treated as proof of a measured performance winner.

Cameras
The Nord 6 has a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide rear camera and a 32MP front camera. Samsung lists 50MP wide and ultra-wide rear cameras, alongside 10MP cameras on both the cover and inner screens. Megapixel counts describe resolution, not overall image quality; these specifications alone cannot determine which phone takes better photos.

How to compare the price fairly
No dependable price gap can be stated from the available listings. The third-party India comparison page has a listed price, but price snapshots conflict and are not authoritative current checkout prices. The official Samsung sources are regional product information, not a directly comparable current checkout total for a specified market. 91mobiles comparison listing.
To calculate a meaningful difference, compare the same market and date, equivalent storage configurations, and prices from identified sellers. Separate list prices from promotional prices, and account for trade-in or financing terms separately. Do not convert India listings into a US or global price comparison.
