For India buyers, the OnePlus Nord 6 is the more compelling fit for a very large stated battery, faster charging and a higher-refresh-rate display. The Samsung Galaxy A37 is lighter and slimmer, adds a macro camera and comes with Samsung’s stated commitment of up to six generations of Android OS upgrades and up to six years of security updates. The price snapshot available on October 4, 2026 showed the Nord 6 ₹5,000 higher, but the listed storage capacities did not match.

Price difference in India
On October 4, 2026, 91mobiles’ comparison page displayed Amazon prices of ₹46,999 for the OnePlus Nord 6 and ₹41,999 for the Galaxy A37, a ₹5,000 difference. This is a dated retailer-listing snapshot, not an official launch price or a guaranteed checkout total. The highlighted comparison row showed 256 GB for the Nord 6 and 128 GB for the A37, so it does not establish the price gap between matching configurations.

Which phone has the better battery and charging?
The Nord 6 has the larger stated capacity: 9000 mAh against the Galaxy A37’s 5000 mAh typical capacity. Samsung also notes a rated minimum capacity of 4,905 mAh and says actual battery life varies. OnePlus lists 80 W charging; 91mobiles reports 45 W for the A37. On these specifications, the Nord 6 is the stronger paper choice for capacity and charging speed.
Capacity does not translate directly into a predictable number of hours. Screen brightness, network conditions, apps and usage affect endurance, and the available figures do not establish a controlled head-to-head result. 91mobiles reports PCMark battery results of 20h 46m for the Nord 6 and 11h 50m for the A37, but the retrieved comparison does not establish the benchmark build, exact variants, test conditions or repeatability. Treat those as that publisher’s reported results, not expected everyday battery life.
OnePlus’s BGMI claim of 165 FPS is conditional: the company ties it to a 12 GB model, specified settings, a 280-nit display, 75 dB volume and a controlled 25°C ± 1°C environment. It is not a guarantee of the same frame rate in every game or setting. OnePlus also says its test results come from its test lab and actual use may vary.

Display and performance: what the numbers tell you
Display
The Nord 6’s listed 165 Hz refresh rate is higher than the A37’s maximum 120 Hz, and comparison listings describe the Nord panel as 1.5K-class while Samsung specifies FHD+ resolution for the A37. A higher refresh rate can support smoother motion in compatible content, but the number alone does not prove that a display looks better overall.
Processor and benchmark listings
OnePlus describes the Nord 6 platform as Snapdragon 8-series; comparison sources identify Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. The A37 processor is listed as Exynos 1480. 91mobiles reports AnTuTu scores of 2,366,913 for the Nord 6 and 1,053,896 for the A37. These are comparison-page results, not a controlled head-to-head finding: the retrieved information does not establish test builds, device variants or conditions. Use them as a rough secondary comparison rather than a promise of real-world speed.
The hardware and display claims make the Nord 6 the more gaming-oriented option on paper. They do not establish how consistently either phone performs across long sessions, games or software updates.

Camera differences
The Galaxy A37’s rear camera set includes a dedicated 5 MP macro camera alongside its 50 MP main and 8 MP ultrawide cameras. The Nord 6 is listed with a 50 MP main and an 8 MP ultrawide. That gives the A37 an extra close-up lens, but a lens count or megapixel figure cannot determine photo quality.

That is not enough to identify a selfie-camera winner: image processing, focus, lighting and sample photos matter, and the available sources do not provide an independent sample-based comparison. If portraits or selfies are a priority, look for examples taken in the conditions you care about rather than choosing on megapixels alone.

Handling and durability
At the listed dimensions, the A37 is 21 g lighter and 1.1 mm thinner than the Nord 6, which may matter if you prefer a less bulky handset. Samsung rates the A37 IP68 and describes laboratory submersion in up to 1.5 m of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. This rating describes a test condition; it is not an unqualified promise that the phone is waterproof. OnePlus uses IP69/IP69K language in its product materials, but the exact India-market certification wording should be checked before relying on a particular interpretation. OnePlus also warns that water resistance may diminish over time and that ingress damage is not covered when use falls outside its conditions.

How long Samsung says it will support the A37
Samsung states that the Galaxy A37 can receive up to six generations of Android OS upgrades and up to six years of security updates. The Nord 6’s four-year OS and six-year security figures appear in 91mobiles’ listing, not in the official OnePlus material reviewed here. If update longevity is decisive, Samsung’s term is the one directly established by the manufacturer announcement in these sources.
Which should you buy?
Choose the OnePlus Nord 6 if
- You prioritize the larger stated battery capacity and faster listed charging.
- You want the higher stated refresh rate and are interested in gaming-oriented hardware claims, while understanding the company’s FPS result depends on specific test conditions.
- You are comfortable with a heavier, thicker phone and verify the price against the same storage configuration as the A37.
Choose the Samsung Galaxy A37 if
- You want a lighter, slimmer handset.
- A dedicated macro camera is useful to you.
- You place weight on Samsung’s stated term of up to six generations of Android OS upgrades and up to six years of security updates.
For a camera-first buyer, the available specifications do not establish an overall winner; compare real photo samples before deciding. For a buyer mainly seeking several years of smooth use, the A37 has the clearer stated software-upgrade term, while neither benchmark figures nor update promises by themselves guarantee a particular level of speed over time.
