The OnePlus Nord 6 is the stronger pick on reported processor class and battery capacity; the Nord CE 6 5G is the lower-priced entry point in some listings. The price gap is not fixed: published figures compare different memory and storage variants, and current official India prices were not verified. Choose between them by matching the configuration you would actually buy, then compare its live price.

Which has better performance?
The Nord 6 is listed with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while the CE 6 is listed with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. That points to the Nord 6 as the higher processor-tier option on paper. The available sources do not provide a controlled head-to-head benchmark, so they do not establish a particular difference in gaming frame rates, app launch times, or sustained performance.

For everyday use, the chipset names alone cannot show how noticeable the difference will be; a hands-on comparison using the same apps and settings would be needed.

Battery and charging: what the listed capacities mean
Android Central reports a 9,000mAh battery for the Nord 6, while Gadgets 360 lists an 8,000mAh battery and 80W charging for the CE 6. The larger reported capacity makes the Nord 6 the stronger choice on battery size alone, but capacity does not guarantee longer runtime for every user. Screen brightness, network conditions, gaming, and other usage patterns affect battery life; the cited sources do not establish comparable runtime measurements for these two phones.
The cited sources state the CE 6’s charging rate but do not state the Nord 6’s rate, so they do not support a direct charging-speed comparison.
Display and cameras: avoid reading too much into the labels
Display
Both phones are listed with 6.78-inch displays. Gadgets Now labels the Nord 6 panel AMOLED and the CE 6 panel “Sunburst AMOLED.” Gadgets 360 additionally lists a 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate for the CE 6. These listings do not establish that the displays match in brightness, color, or real-world refresh behavior, nor do they provide a comparable full set of display measurements for both phones.
Cameras
The listed rear-camera combinations are 50MP + 8MP for the Nord 6 and 50MP + 2MP for the CE 6. Those resolution figures describe hardware listings, not photo quality. They do not establish which phone takes better pictures in daylight, indoors, at night, or in video; no equivalent camera test or sample set is available in the cited material.

Configurations and India price difference
Compare the same RAM and storage tier before treating one phone as cheaper. The figures below are from different publishers and price contexts, so they are not a single like-for-like snapshot of current official pricing.
| Source and date/context | Nord 6 | Nord CE 6 5G | What the figures mean |
|---|---|---|---|
| 91mobiles, accessed in 2026 | ₹46,999 for the compared 256GB configuration | ₹37,999 for the compared 128GB configuration | The apparent ₹9,000 difference compares different storage tiers. |
| Android Central, reported India launch prices in 2026 | ₹38,999 for 8GB/256GB; ₹41,999 for 12GB/256GB | Not stated | Nord 6 launch prices; sales were reported to begin 9 April 2026. These are not verified current prices. |
| Gadgets 360, 7 October 2026 | Not stated | ₹36,200 reported lowest price for 8GB/128GB; 8GB/256GB listed from ₹41,880 to ₹41,999 | CE 6 listing figures reported on that date, not a verified official price. |
| Gadgets Now, displayed comparison prices | ₹46,999 offer price; ₹52,999 list price | ₹37,999 offer price; ₹40,999 list price | The comparison page’s default configurations differ; the figures should not be read as a matched-tier price gap. |
These listings establish neither a definitive current price difference nor the current official price of either phone. OnePlus-domain results available for the models surfaced older Nord CE 5 products rather than exact Nord 6 or CE 6 product pages. Before buying, check an official listing or retailer for the exact India model, configuration, stock, and price; compare 8GB/256GB with 8GB/256GB where possible.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the Nord 6 if
- You want the higher processor tier listed in the available comparisons.
- You value the larger reported battery capacity.
- You are considering 12GB RAM: the listed Nord 6 options include 12GB/256GB, while the cited CE 6 listings show 8GB RAM configurations.
Consider the Nord CE 6 5G if
- You want to spend less and the live price for your chosen storage tier supports that choice.
- The listed 8,000mAh battery, 80W charging, and 144Hz, 1.5K display suit your priorities.
- You can buy the storage tier you need without paying for a higher-end configuration you would not use.
For a fair decision, compare the exact variant price and verify the features on an official or retailer product page. Processor class and battery capacity favor the Nord 6 in the available listings; neither figure substitutes for a comparable performance or battery-life test.
