The OnePlus Nord 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra serve different needs: the Nord 6 is a conventional phone, while Samsung’s foldable opens to an 8-inch main display. A 91mobiles comparison listing showed an India price gap of ₹153,000, but its figures are not verified live checkout prices or confirmed to represent matching storage configurations.
What is the difference between the Nord 6 and Fold8 Ultra?
The biggest distinction is the form factor. The Nord 6 is a standard smartphone; the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is a foldable designed around a much larger inner screen for productivity and content creation. Samsung identifies that main display as 8 inches in its announcement.

That makes the choice less about which spec sheet is universally better and more about whether you want a conventional phone or the expanded workspace of a foldable. The available sources do not establish a controlled head-to-head test of the two models.

What do the listed India prices show?
A 91mobiles comparison listing displayed ₹46,999 for the OnePlus Nord 6 and ₹199,999 for the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, a difference of ₹153,000. These are figures on a third-party listing, not independently verified checkout totals. The listing does not establish that the prices are for equivalent storage configurations or that they remain current. Check the retailer’s live price and the exact variant before buying; these figures apply only to the India listing, not other markets.
OnePlus describes the Nord 6’s launch positioning as the ₹35,000–₹40,000 smartphone segment on its India product page. That segment positioning is not a current retailer price and should not be substituted for the third-party listing’s displayed figure.
Which phone makes more sense for your needs?
Choose the Nord 6 if you want a conventional phone
The Nord 6’s published specifications emphasize a high-refresh display, a large-capacity battery, and fast charging. OnePlus also advertises a 2.5+ day battery claim and other usage estimates based on manufacturer testing. Those are OnePlus claims, not independent results or a direct comparison with Samsung; the company notes real-world experience can vary. OnePlus says its launch claims apply to India, with some segment-leading claims limited to its stated India price band at launch.

Consider the Fold8 Ultra if you will use the larger inner screen
Samsung positions the Fold8 Ultra around productivity and content creation, with its 8-inch main display as the key form-factor distinction. Its worldwide rollout was announced to begin August 7, 2026, across 106 markets. Availability, pricing, and configurations can differ by market, so confirm local details before deciding.
Compare the exact versions available where you live
- Check current local prices for the same storage tier rather than comparing a low-tier listing with a higher-tier one.
- Decide whether the Fold8 Ultra’s larger inner screen is useful enough to justify the price shown for your market.
- For battery life, camera quality, or gaming, look for tests conducted under comparable conditions. Manufacturer figures alone do not establish which phone performs better head to head.
When did each phone launch or become available?
OnePlus identifies April 7, 2026, as the Nord 6 launch date in India. An OnePlus Experience Store timeline says it became available to buy through Amazon India on April 9, 2026; that is a timeline statement, not a current Amazon listing. Samsung announced the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra on August 6, 2026, with worldwide rollout of the new lineup beginning August 7. The announcement date, rollout start, and retailer availability are distinct events.
