The OnePlus Nord 6 is the better fit if you want a large, high-refresh-rate screen, a much larger battery, or the lower listed price. The vivo X300 FE is the more compact option, with a dedicated 3x optical telephoto camera and a higher-tier chipset designation in the comparison sources. 91mobiles displayed prices of ₹46,999 for the Nord 6 and ₹89,999 for the X300 FE—a ₹43,000 gap at the time of its listing. Treat those as observed prices, not guaranteed current offers.

Which phone has the better display and size?

The Nord 6 has the larger screen: 6.78 inches versus 6.31 inches on the X300 FE. Its listed 165 Hz refresh rate is also higher than the vivo’s 120 Hz. That combination favors the Nord 6 for a roomy viewing area and smoother supported motion. The smaller X300 FE is the more compact choice for people who would rather have a handset that takes up less space.

Refresh rate is only one part of the experience; the listed figures do not establish comparative brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor visibility. Choose based on preferred size and use rather than assuming the higher number settles every display question.

Which has the stronger camera setup?

The X300 FE has the more versatile rear-camera specification because it adds a dedicated 50MP 3x optical telephoto camera with optical image stabilization. Its official rear-camera list also includes a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP wide-angle camera. The Nord 6’s 91mobiles listing gives it a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide, without a dedicated telephoto camera in that comparison.

For distant subjects or portraits framed at a longer focal length, a separate optical telephoto lens gives the vivo a hardware option the listed Nord 6 setup does not. vivo also lists a 50MP autofocus front camera, compared with the 32MP front camera reported for the Nord 6 by 91mobiles. Resolution alone does not determine image quality; sensor, optics, processing, and shooting conditions matter too.

vivo says its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 is compatible with the X300 FE and must be purchased separately. Check regional availability and compatibility before buying; the product details are on vivo India’s accessory page.

Battery capacity, charging, and everyday use

The Nord 6 has a stated 9000 mAh battery, compared with 6500 mAh for the X300 FE. That is a substantial capacity advantage for the OnePlus on paper, but capacity alone cannot establish how long either phone lasts: screen settings, network conditions, apps, and usage all affect runtime. OnePlus calls it a “Segment’s largest battery,” a manufacturer claim rather than an independently established category comparison, and describes gaming up to 165 FPS under specified test conditions on its launch page.

For wired charging, 91mobiles lists 80W for the Nord 6, while vivo confirms 90W FlashCharge for the X300 FE. The vivo therefore has the higher listed wired-charging wattage, but wattage by itself does not show which phone charges faster across a full charge. 91mobiles lists wireless charging for the X300 FE; it does not list it for the Nord 6, so confirm that feature on the exact model listing before relying on it.

Chipset and software support

The sources identify the X300 FE’s chipset as Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, confirmed on vivo’s official product page. 91mobiles lists the Nord 6 with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. The X300 FE therefore has the higher chipset-tier designation in these sources, but that label is not a substitute for testing the apps, games, or workloads you care about. Comparison-page benchmark scores, where shown, should not be treated as universal real-world performance results.

OnePlus states that the Nord 6 is eligible for four Android OS updates and six years of security updates via OTA. For the X300 FE, 91mobiles reports five OS and seven security update years; that duration is a third-party listing here, not confirmed by the opened official vivo product page. vivo’s official page lists Android 16 and OriginOS 6.

Durability claims and what they establish

vivo confirms IP68 and IP69 protection ratings for the X300 FE. For the Nord 6, 91mobiles lists IP66, IP68, IP69, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H, but the reviewed OnePlus page provides general water-resistance caveats rather than establishing that full list. Do not treat a rating as permission to expose a phone to water without checking the manufacturer’s terms: damage coverage and test conditions can differ.

Which one should you buy?

  • Choose the OnePlus Nord 6 if a larger 165 Hz screen, greater stated battery capacity, or the lower observed listing price matters most.
  • Choose the vivo X300 FE if you prefer a smaller phone, want a dedicated 3x optical telephoto camera, or prioritize the higher chipset designation in the cited sources.
  • Compare current listings carefully if price is decisive: verify the RAM and storage variant, seller, warranty, discounts, and final checkout amount for both models.

There is no universal winner: the choice turns on whether the Nord 6’s display and battery advantages outweigh the X300 FE’s compact size and telephoto camera for your use.
