The OnePlus Nord 4 is the larger-screen option, while the vivo X300 FE pairs a more compact display with a listed telephoto camera and wireless charging on its Europe specification page. Their chipsets, batteries and camera arrays differ, but the available specifications do not establish a real-world performance or photo-quality winner. Prices also need a same-country, same-date comparison: the available India figures come from different sellers and are not a like-for-like price gap.

Which phone has the better size and screen for you?
The Nord 4’s 6.74-inch display gives you a larger viewing area on paper, which may suit video, games and reading. The X300 FE’s 6.31-inch screen makes it the more compact choice by diagonal. Screen diagonal alone does not determine one-handed comfort; check each market’s actual dimensions and weight, and if possible handle the phone before buying.
Build details also vary by regional source. OnePlus emphasized the Nord 4’s metal unibody in its launch announcement. The cited vivo India materials list a glass back, while vivo Europe lists the X300 FE at 191g and 7.99mm thick.

Camera differences: a telephoto option versus a simpler array
The India vivo store listing gives the X300 FE a 50MP OIS main camera, a 50MP OIS telephoto camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera and a 50MP front camera. The Nord 4 specification lists a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide. That gives the vivo a listed dedicated telephoto camera, which can be useful for zoomed-in framing without relying solely on a crop from the main camera.
Camera resolution and hardware do not prove which phone takes better photos. The cited evidence does not provide comparable independent camera tests, so a photo-quality winner cannot be established from these specifications. vivo says its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 is compatible with the X300 FE and sold separately; check local availability and price on the vivo India product page.
Performance and battery: what the specifications do—and do not—show
Chipset
The Nord 4 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3, while official India and Europe X300 FE pages name the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. These are chipset specifications, not a measured speed comparison. They do not establish a particular difference in app launch times, gaming frame rates, heat or battery life. OnePlus’s launch post includes vendor performance claims, which should be treated as the company’s own claims rather than neutral comparative test results.

The Nord 4 lists a 5,500mAh battery and 100W wired charging. vivo lists the X300 FE with a 6,500mAh typical-capacity battery and 90W wired charging; its Europe page also lists 40W wireless charging. Battery capacity is not the same as tested runtime, and the figures do not show which phone lasts longer under the same use.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Software support: a confirmed Nord 4 policy, an unresolved X300 FE duration
At the Nord 4 launch, OnePlus announced four major Android updates and six years of security updates. The cited official sources do not establish a support-duration promise for the X300 FE. That means the Nord 4 has a documented commitment in the evidence available here; it does not prove that vivo’s actual support period is shorter. Read the terms for your market and confirm what the manufacturer promises for the specific model before treating software longevity as a deciding factor. The announcement is on OnePlus’s Nord 4 launch page.
Price difference: the available India figures are not directly comparable
The vivo India store displayed ₹94,999 for the X300 FE 12GB+256GB, against an MRP of ₹119,999, when checked on 7 October 2026. Separately, 91mobiles’ comparison page showed ₹33,999 for the Nord 4 at Flipkart and ₹89,999 for the X300 FE at Amazon. Those are seller snapshots from different retailers, and the comparison does not establish a controlled, same-seller or same-condition price difference. Prices may change, and the vivo store figure is for a specific memory tier.
For an accurate decision, compare the same memory configuration in your country on the same day, accounting for seller, discounts, bundled items, warranty and delivery. The observed store listing is at the vivo India store; the retailer snapshots appear on 91mobiles’ exact-model comparison. Do not treat either snapshot as a current guaranteed offer.
Quick Recap
What to check before buying in your market
- Confirm the memory configuration and exact regional model being sold.
- Check local 5G and other network-band compatibility, plus warranty and service coverage.
- Verify the box contents, especially whether a charger is included, and check accessory availability and price.
- Compare same-day prices for equivalent memory tiers rather than subtracting listings from different sellers.
- Choose based on the trade-off you value: the Nord 4’s larger display and stated update policy, or the X300 FE’s more compact screen and listed telephoto camera.
