Those specifications and commitments make it promising on paper, but they do not establish real-world battery life, camera quality, performance, or value at today’s local price.

What looks promising about the Nord 4
Display specifications geared toward sharp, fluid viewing
The 6.74-inch panel has a 2772 × 1240 resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. OnePlus also lists peak brightness up to 2,150 nits. These numbers describe the panel’s specifications; they do not tell you how bright the display stays in everyday use, how accurately it renders color, or how legible it is outdoors.

A capable-sounding platform with fast listed storage
The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage are substantial listed components. The Nord 4 is specified in 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB configurations, but OnePlus says actual sales availability is subject to the market. No independent benchmarks or gaming tests are established here, so these parts should not be mistaken for proof of a particular speed or sustained performance.
Large stated battery and high charging rate
OnePlus specifies a 5,500mAh battery and 100W SUPERVOOC charging. Its Singapore product page says the 100W adapter is sold separately, so check the contents of the package in your region and whether you need to buy a compatible adapter. The listed charging rate does not establish how long a full charge takes, and battery capacity alone does not predict endurance.

A defined software-support commitment
OnePlus announced four major Android updates and six years of security updates for the Nord 4. That is the manufacturer’s stated support policy, not confirmation of which updates have reached a particular handset or region. The commitment was announced in OnePlus’s July 16, 2024 launch announcement.

The rear setup pairs a 50MP Sony main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS) with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The selfie camera is 16MP. OnePlus’s Greece specifications page identifies the main sensor as a 1/1.95-inch Sony LYTIA unit with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF autofocus.

That is useful hardware information, but megapixel counts and stabilization features cannot establish the quality of photos or video. No independent camera comparisons or sample-based findings are available here, so there is not enough evidence to call the Nord 4 a strong camera phone or to judge its ultra-wide and low-light results.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Battery longevity: separate the company claim from measured results
In its 2024 launch materials, OnePlus said the battery retained over 80% of its original capacity after more than 1,600 charging cycles over four years. This is a manufacturer-reported test claim, not an independent result. It also does not establish how long the phone lasts on a charge in everyday use; no independent endurance or charging-time measurement is available here.
Pros and cons based on the available evidence
Potential pros
- High-resolution 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate up to 120Hz.
- Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage on the specification sheet.
- 5,500mAh stated battery capacity and support for 100W SUPERVOOC charging.
- OnePlus’s announced commitment to four major Android updates and six years of security updates.
- OIS and EIS listed for the 50MP main camera.
Caveats
- Display quality, performance, camera output, charging time and battery endurance have not been independently established here.
- The 100W adapter is listed as sold separately on OnePlus’s Singapore product page; regional package contents may differ.
- Not every market is guaranteed to sell both listed memory and storage configurations.
- The support duration is an announced policy, not a report of current rollout status.
- Current price and availability are not established, so value for money cannot be judged from these specifications alone.
Is the OnePlus Nord 4 worth buying?
On paper, the Nord 4 combines an ambitious display specification, a strong-looking chipset and storage combination, a large stated battery, fast supported charging and a clearly announced update commitment. Whether that makes it a good buy depends on the local price, the configuration actually sold in your market, package contents and real-world tests—especially for battery life, cameras and sustained performance. Without current pricing and independent results, a definitive value or camera verdict would go beyond the available evidence.
