The vivo X300 FE is the newer, narrower phone, with a newer listed chipset, a larger battery capacity and a dedicated 3x optical telephoto camera. The OnePlus Nord 2T has the larger screen, a specified 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), and 80W charging. Which is better depends on whether you value compact dimensions and camera reach or a larger display and a potentially lower local price.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not the results of a controlled head-to-head test. The software versions above are those shown on the respective specification pages; they do not establish either phone’s update lifespan.
Which phone is smaller, and which has the bigger screen?
The Nord 2T has the larger display: 6.43 inches versus the X300 FE’s 6.31 inches. In physical dimensions, however, the X300 FE is shorter and narrower. It is also nearly the same weight according to the manufacturers’ figures: 191g for vivo’s phone and 190g for the OnePlus. Choose based on the screen size you prefer rather than assuming the smaller phone is substantially lighter.

OnePlus Nord 2T: specified main-camera hardware
OnePlus identifies the Nord 2T’s main camera as a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS and an f/1.8 aperture. That gives buyers a concrete main-camera specification, but megapixel count and sensor name alone do not prove that it takes better photos than the vivo. OnePlus also lists ultrawide and monochrome rear cameras.

vivo X300 FE: a dedicated 3x telephoto camera
The X300 FE’s main distinguishing camera feature is a dedicated 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Digital Camera World describes the rear setup as a 50MP main, 50MP 3x telephoto and 8MP ultrawide; its reviewer praised the telephoto and criticized the ultrawide’s low-light performance (Digital Camera World). This is reviewer experience, not a controlled comparison against the Nord 2T.
For distant subjects such as performers, wildlife or action, vivo also says its separately purchased ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 is compatible with the X300 FE and offers 200mm-equivalent reach (vivo X300 FE product page). Treat it as an optional accessory, not as part of the phone’s standard camera hardware.

Battery capacity and charging: what the figures show
vivo lists a 6500mAh typical battery capacity for the X300 FE, with a 6350mAh minimum-rated capacity. OnePlus lists 4500mAh for the Nord 2T. The capacity figures favor the newer vivo on paper, but they do not by themselves establish how long either phone lasts in a particular person’s use.
Charging is rated at 90W FlashCharge for the X300 FE and 80W SUPERVOOC for the Nord 2T. vivo says maximum supported 90W charging requires its original adapter and cable, and that charging power adjusts dynamically with use (vivo India specifications). Digital Camera World’s reviewer reported using the X300 FE for a day and a half and said two days might be possible with lighter use; that is one reviewer’s experience, not a lab result or a Nord 2T comparison (Digital Camera World review).

What is the price difference?
There is no universal price difference: the answer depends on country, seller, configuration, stock and condition. When accessed, vivo’s official India store showed the X300 FE with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage at ₹89,999, against an MRP of ₹109,999 (vivo India store). This is a dated India listing, not a global price or a guarantee of the current transaction price.
A third-party comparison page lists a Nord 2T price, but that alone does not establish a current, like-for-like retail offer (91mobiles comparison). Before concluding that one phone is cheaper, compare offers in the same market for the same storage tier, seller class, warranty and condition. The available figures do not support a reliable numerical price gap.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the vivo X300 FE if you want a shorter, narrower phone, a listed newer processor platform, IP68/IP69 protection, a larger stated battery capacity or a dedicated 3x optical telephoto camera. Confirm the local storage variant and price before buying.
- Consider the OnePlus Nord 2T if you prefer its 6.43-inch display, value its specified Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS, or find a satisfactory older phone at a lower local price. Check current stock, condition and warranty rather than relying on an old or aggregator price.
