The OnePlus Magnetic Ice Card Slim Cooler is a compact magnetic phone cooler announced in China alongside the OnePlus 15T in March 2026. It is reported to be 9.8 mm thick and weigh 68 g. That makes it slim and light, but available reporting does not establish that its footprint matches a bank card exactly. Reports describe a thermoelectric cooling plate, fan and air duct—not a formally named “dedicated cooling chip.”
What is the OnePlus Magnetic Ice Card?
It is a magnetic phone-cooling accessory OnePlus introduced around the OnePlus 15T launch in China. GSMArena reported the product’s dimensions ahead of that launch, and an iXBT Live post published on 24 March 2026 described its hardware and launch details. The latter credits IT Home and OnePlus; its specifications and performance-related claims should be understood as reported product information, not independent test results.
The title’s “cooling chip” wording is not established as the product’s formal component name in the available reporting. The hardware is described instead as a thermoelectric cooling (TEC) plate, a centrifugal fan and a curved air duct.
How big is it?
GSMArena reported dimensions of 9.8 mm thick and a weight of 68 g. Those figures support describing the cooler as slim and light. “About the size of a bank card” is a loose analogy: the reporting does not give the cooler’s length and width or document a precise bank-card-sized footprint. GSMArena’s March 2026 report gives the thickness and weight.

How is the cooler reported to work?
The 24 March 2026 iXBT Live post describes a TEC cooling plate paired with a centrifugal fan and curved air duct. It reports a maximum noise level of up to 36 dB, attributing the product details to IT Home/OnePlus. That figure is a reported claim, not an independently measured result, and the source does not provide independent cooling tests or comparative performance data. Read the iXBT Live report.
Will it work with an iPhone or another Android phone?
The iXBT Live report says the cooler mounts using OPPO Mag magnets and claims compatibility with Android devices and Apple products equipped with MagSafe. It does not list tested phone models or establish compatibility with every magnetic case or Android handset. Before buying, confirm that your phone or case has the required magnetic alignment and that the case’s thickness and material are suitable with the seller. Do not assume Bluetooth controls or ColorOS X cooling settings are available on every phone: the report mentions those controls but does not establish universal software support.

What did it cost, and is it available now?
iXBT Live reported a China launch price of 179 yuan on 24 March 2026. That is a launch-price report, not a current price or a price applicable in every country. OPPO China’s accessories catalog included the product under the name “一加 磁吸冰冰卡” when accessed on 9 October 2026, but the catalog marked listed products out of stock at that time. A catalog entry and stock status in China do not establish availability elsewhere. Check OPPO China’s OnePlus accessories catalog for its current listing status.
