The OnePlus 16 may be testing bezels narrower than 1mm on all four sides, but that remains an unconfirmed leak—not an official specification. The report attributed the claim to tipster Digital Chat Station, who did not name the phone; coverage inferred it was the OnePlus 16 by matching other reported details. OnePlus’s official benchmark is the OnePlus 15, whose four-sided bezels it says are approximately 1.15mm.
What the OnePlus 16 bezel leak says
Android Authority reported on June 16, 2026, that OnePlus was reportedly testing a display with bezels under 1mm on all four sides. The report attributed the information to Digital Chat Station, but it did not establish a final retail specification. Gizmochina’s June 16 coverage makes an important attribution distinction: Digital Chat Station described an unnamed device in testing, and the OnePlus 16 identification was inferred from other reported details. How that compares with the OnePlus 15

The figures are not a like-for-like verified comparison: one is the manufacturer’s stated measurement for a released model, while the other is a rumor about a device reportedly being tested. OnePlus’s measurement caveat also means a small difference should not be treated as definitive without matching measurement methods and conditions.
Does this make the OnePlus 16 the first phone with sub-1mm bezels?
That is not established. The leak, even if accurately reported, does not provide an independently verified comparison across other phones or confirm that a final OnePlus 16 will retain the reported design. Calling it the first would require comparable measurements and a clearly defined basis for the claim; the available reports do not provide that evidence.

What is confirmed about the OnePlus 16 display?
The reviewed reports do not establish a final OnePlus 16 bezel measurement or confirm the phone’s full display specifications. The under-1mm figure and the separate 185Hz claim remain reported testing details, not official specifications. The sources also do not establish the phone’s launch date, price, or sales-market availability.
