OPPO’s launch announcement gave lower launch prices—₹46,999, ₹49,999 and ₹55,999 for the Reno16c’s respective configurations—and said availability began 9 July 2026. Those were launch prices, not the later prices listed above. OPPO’s launch announcement.
Which phone has the better performance and display?
On the published specifications, the OnePlus 15R’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform and display refresh ceiling of 165Hz place it ahead on processor class and maximum refresh rate. The Reno16c uses a Dimensity 7300-Energy and a 120Hz display. A higher refresh ceiling can make supported motion look smoother, but it does not establish how either phone performs in every game or app. The cited OnePlus details are for Canada, so check the exact India model before relying on its configuration.

For everyday use, the display-size difference is modest: 6.83 inches on the cited OnePlus model against 6.69 inches on the Reno16c. Resolution is 2800 × 1272 versus 2372 × 1080, respectively. These figures describe the panels, not brightness, colour accuracy or outdoor visibility; the cited specifications do not establish a real-world display winner.
Camera comparison: when the Reno16c telephoto matters
The Reno16c has the more versatile documented rear-camera arrangement. Alongside its main and ultra-wide cameras, it includes a 50MP 3.5x optical telephoto with OIS. That dedicated lens gives a framing option suited to subjects farther away, such as portraits or distant details, without relying solely on cropping a main-camera image. The OnePlus specification excerpt lists a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide, with no telephoto listed.
Megapixel counts and lens lists do not prove which phone takes better photos. Image processing, focus, exposure and shooting conditions matter, and there is no controlled head-to-head camera test established here. OPPO lists Reno16c rear video recording up to 4K at 30fps; no OnePlus rear-video resolution is stated in the cited excerpt.

Battery, charging and storage
The listed typical battery capacities are 7400mAh for the cited OnePlus model and 7000mAh for the Reno16c; OPPO also gives a Reno16c rated capacity of 6850mAh. Capacity alone cannot determine which phone lasts longer in use. The listed charging rates favour OPPO: 80W SUPERVOOC for Reno16c, with a charger included, versus 55W SUPERVOOC on the cited OnePlus Canada page. Actual charging time is not established by those wattage figures.

Reno16c supports storage-card expansion and comes in configurations up to 12GB/256GB. The cited OnePlus page lists 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB, but the retrieved specifications do not establish matching storage-card support. If you need more room for photos or offline media, confirm the card format and capacity supported by the OPPO model; if you prefer built-in storage, compare the precise capacities and prices available in your market.
Which phone should you buy?
- Choose the OnePlus 15R if processor class and a higher stated refresh ceiling are your priorities, and the India variant, price and seller check out. Its cited specifications are from the Canada locale, not a confirmed India configuration.
- Choose the OPPO Reno16c if you value a dedicated 3.5x optical telephoto, expandable storage, 80W charging, or a lower listed entry price. Its dated India pricing is available for three RAM/storage configurations.
- Compare before paying by matching storage and seller terms, then checking current price, stock, warranty and included items. Do not treat an Amazon reference on a comparison page as proof of a current offer.
