The OnePlus 15R is the better fit if you prioritize a higher refresh-rate display and a larger listed battery; the OPPO Find X9 has the more versatile listed rear-camera hardware, with a dedicated telephoto lens, and adds wireless charging. For India, the documented prices are from different dates, so they do not establish today’s price gap.
OnePlus 15R vs OPPO Find X9: key specs
The specifications below are for the India-market phones. OnePlus lists a 165Hz display and 7,400mAh battery for the 15R. OPPO lists a maximum 120Hz display and a 7,025mAh typical battery for the Find X9; its rated capacity is 6,840mAh. The camera layouts also differ: the Find X9 has a dedicated telephoto camera, while the 15R lists a main camera and an ultrawide.

Display refresh rate
OnePlus advertises a 165Hz refresh rate, compared with OPPO’s maximum 120Hz. That is a difference in the manufacturers’ stated specifications, not proof that every app or game will run at those rates. The available specifications do not establish a like-for-like comparison of brightness, screen size, or viewing quality.

Processor and software
The 15R uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and OxygenOS 16; the Find X9 uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 and ColorOS 16. Those names identify the platforms, but the cited sources do not provide a comparable benchmark result or establish which phone performs better in sustained gaming or other demanding use. They also do not establish a comparable software-update support period.
Which phone has the better camera setup?
The Find X9 lists three 50MP rear cameras: a wide camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an ultrawide, and a telephoto with OIS. It also lists a 2MP monochrome sensor. A dedicated telephoto camera gives the OPPO a distinct hardware option for zoom photography.

The OnePlus 15R lists a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide. On the specifications alone, the Find X9 offers more camera types and higher listed ultrawide resolution. Megapixel counts and lens presence do not establish which phone takes better photographs; the cited material does not include comparative camera tests.

OnePlus lists a 7,400mAh battery and up to 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging. OPPO gives both a typical capacity of 7,025mAh and a rated capacity of 6,840mAh for the Find X9, with up to 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. The OnePlus has the larger stated capacity; the OPPO is the one with wireless charging specified in its India listing.

The documented 12GB/256GB prices differ by ₹24,000: OPPO announced the Find X9 at ₹74,999, while a OnePlus offer table listed the 15R at ₹50,999. These are not prices from the same date. OPPO’s figure is its India launch price, announced in 2025; OnePlus’s was a promotional listing for an offer period that ended September 30, 2026. The arithmetic difference is not a verified current checkout gap.

OPPO said Find X9 sales in India would begin on November 21, 2025, through the OPPO e-store, Flipkart, and mainline retail outlets. Its global launch release notes that price, configuration, and availability vary by region. Do not use the India figures as prices for another country or assume they are current. - Compare prices before deciding by checking the same memory configuration, market, seller, and purchase date. The documented figures above are not a same-day price comparison.
