Which phone has the better display?
The OnePlus 15R lists the higher maximum refresh rate: up to 165Hz compared with up to 144Hz on the Edge 70 Pro. It is also slightly larger by the listed diagonal measurements. Those specifications may matter if you value a larger screen or high refresh rates, but refresh rate alone does not establish which display looks better overall.

Which phone has the stronger performance?
The OnePlus lists a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, while Motorola lists a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme. Chip names alone are not enough to determine which phone performs better in everyday use, gaming, or sustained workloads. The cited specifications do not provide matched independent benchmarks, so there is no evidence-based performance winner here.
Battery capacity or charging speed: which matters more?
OnePlus lists a 7,400mAh typical-capacity battery, compared with Motorola’s 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. Motorola lists 90W wired charging, while the reviewed OnePlus specification page lists 55W SUPERVOOC. The OnePlus figure is higher for capacity; the Motorola figure is higher for charging wattage. Neither comparison by itself establishes real-world battery life or a full charge time.

Which phone offers more camera flexibility?
Motorola documents a three-camera rear setup, including a 50MP autofocus ultrawide and a 3.5× periscope telephoto in its announcement. The OnePlus specification page lists a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide. On documented hardware, Motorola offers more focal-length options, particularly for distant subjects. That does not prove it produces better photos; image quality requires comparable camera testing.
What is the price difference?
A current, like-for-like price difference is not established by the cited official sources. OnePlus India’s bank-offer page listed the 12GB/256GB OnePlus 15R at ₹50,999 and the 12GB/512GB model at ₹55,249 for September 2026 offers. Those offers have expired, so the figures are historical context, not current prices. Motorola’s announcement directs readers to local PR for price and availability, and its reviewed India support page does not state a price.

To compare what you would actually pay, check both phones in the same country and on the same date, match RAM and storage as closely as possible, and distinguish the listed price from sale prices, bank discounts, and exchange offers. OnePlus also notes on its India product page that its product details are market-specific; confirm the local variant before relying on these figures.

Which phone should you buy?
- Consider the OnePlus 15R if its larger listed battery, higher maximum refresh rate, or 512GB storage option on the reviewed specification page best matches your priorities.
- Consider the Motorola Edge 70 Pro if you value a periscope telephoto and broader documented camera flexibility, faster listed wired charging, or Motorola India’s stated update-support period.
- Compare current local prices before choosing on value. The available price information does not establish which phone is cheaper today.
Before purchase, verify your country’s exact model, memory and storage configuration, included charging support, and software-update terms. Motorola’s India support page cautions that “Certain specifications may vary by market.”
