The OnePlus 15 and Motorola Signature are both large premium Android phones, but their published specifications point to different priorities: OnePlus lists a higher-tier named chipset and a larger battery, while Motorola lists a thinner, lighter design and a seven-year software-support commitment. Neither spec sheet proves which phone takes better photos, lasts longer in real use, or performs better under sustained workloads. Price also depends on country, storage configuration, and current stock.

Storage listed 256GB or 512GB 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB on Motorola’s support page; availability varies by market

These are manufacturer-published specifications, not results from a controlled comparison. In particular, display-brightness figures use different terms, and battery capacity, camera resolution, and zoom ceilings do not establish real-world performance or image quality. Motorola says its specifications may vary by market.

Performance: the OnePlus has the higher-tier named chip

OnePlus lists the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while Motorola lists the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. That makes the chipset names a point in OnePlus’s favor if you are choosing by the published processor tier. It is not enough to quantify a speed advantage: the available specifications do not provide comparable benchmark results, sustained-load tests, or thermal measurements.

Battery and charging: capacity favors OnePlus, wired charging rate favors Motorola

The OnePlus 15’s listed 7,300mAh battery is larger than the Signature’s 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery. Motorola, however, lists 90W wired charging against the 80W wired figure on OnePlus’s US product page. Both list 50W wireless charging, and Motorola also lists 10W wireless reverse charging.

  • OxygenOS 16 delivers a faster, smoother, and more intuitive experience, with refined design, smarter features, and enhanced performance that keeps up with your day.

These ratings describe capacity and advertised charging features, not a direct test of how long either phone lasts or how quickly it charges from the same starting level under the same conditions. If endurance is your deciding factor, the figures alone cannot establish which handset will last longer for your mix of apps, signal conditions, and screen use.

Cameras: similar rear-camera counts, different stated details

Both phones list three 50MP rear cameras, including a telephoto camera. OnePlus specifies 3.5× optical zoom; Motorola specifies a 3× optical periscope telephoto. Their listed digital-zoom ceilings—up to 120× for OnePlus and 100× Super Zoom Pro for Motorola—are not equivalent to a promise of usable detail at those magnifications.

For selfies, Motorola lists a 50MP front camera and OnePlus lists a 32MP front camera. Resolution and zoom specifications do not determine which phone produces better photos. The cited specifications do not establish comparative results for portraits, low-light shots, video, or image processing.

Design and display: Motorola is lighter; screen sizes are close

Motorola lists a 6.99mm-thick, 186g phone. OnePlus lists 8.1–8.2mm thickness and 211–215g depending on color, so the Signature is notably slimmer and lighter on paper. Their displays are close in size and resolution: 6.8 inches and 2780 × 1264 for Motorola, versus 6.78 inches and 2772 × 1272 for OnePlus.

Both manufacturers list refresh rates reaching 165Hz, though OnePlus qualifies that figure as available in gaming and lists adaptive 1–120Hz otherwise. Brightness figures are not directly comparable: OnePlus gives an HBM value, while Motorola gives a peak-brightness value, and the cited information does not establish matching measurement conditions.

Software support and storage

Motorola’s India support specifications state up to seven years of OS upgrades and security patches. OnePlus identifies Android 16 and OxygenOS 16, but the cited specifications do not state a matching support duration. On storage, OnePlus lists 256GB and 512GB; Motorola’s support page also lists a 1TB option. A listed configuration may not be sold in every country.

Price difference: compare within the same country and configuration

There is no single global price difference. The cited OnePlus US product page listed $899.99 for 12GB/256GB and $999.99 for 16GB/512GB. OnePlus’s India product page showed a minimum fixed price of ₹85,999. A 91mobiles comparison snapshot listed ₹85,999 for the OnePlus 15 and ₹62,899 for the Motorola Signature; that Motorola figure is a third-party listing snapshot, not a manufacturer price or guaranteed current offer.

Do not subtract prices across countries or assume the listings reflect the same storage configuration, seller, or sale terms. Before buying, check local availability, the exact RAM and storage option, and the current price at the retailer in your market.

Which phone fits your priorities?

  • Consider the OnePlus 15 if the higher-tier named chipset or larger listed battery capacity matters most to you, or you want its stated 3.5× optical telephoto reach.
  • Consider the Motorola Signature if a thinner, lighter handset, a higher stated front-camera resolution, or Motorola’s published up-to-seven-year software-support commitment matters more.
  • Compare local listings before choosing if price or a particular storage size is decisive; configurations and availability can differ by market.

The specifications support a priorities-based choice, not a universal winner. They do not settle camera quality, battery endurance, or sustained performance in everyday use.
