Camera setup and the trade-off to consider
The rear system pairs a 50 MP wide camera with a 50 MP telephoto camera offering 2x optical zoom; the front camera is 32 MP with autofocus, according to OnePlus. Gadgets 360’s launch report additionally identifies a Sony LYT-700 primary sensor and optical image stabilization.
The phone does not have a dedicated ultrawide camera, according to Gadgets 360’s product and review summary. If you often photograph wide group scenes, landscapes or architecture, that missing field of view may matter more than having a 2x telephoto camera. The same review summary describes telephoto performance as a weakness; that is an attributed review judgment, not a laboratory measurement.

How to decide whether the OnePlus 13s fits
- Prioritize compact size: OnePlus lists a 6.32-inch display and a 185 g weight, which are the relevant published figures for comparing physical size and weight with other phones.
- Compare like-for-like prices: Match RAM and storage tiers when comparing prices, and use the retailer’s live checkout price rather than assuming the dated listing remains available.
- Check camera coverage: Decide whether a dedicated ultrawide is important for your usual photos; the listed rear cameras are wide and 2x telephoto.
- Interpret performance and battery claims carefully: Snapdragon 8 Elite, 5,850 mAh and 80 W charging are manufacturer-listed specifications. OnePlus’s performance and battery comparisons are company claims, not independent benchmark findings.
