The OnePlus 13 is the bigger phone, with a larger, higher-resolution display and a higher stated battery capacity. The Xiaomi 15 is narrower and lighter, with a Leica-branded camera system. Both list the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform. There is no reliable universal price difference: compare current prices in your country for the same storage capacity and check the seller, warranty, and included charger.

How the size and display differ
OnePlus 13: more screen and resolution
At 6.82 inches and 3168 × 1440, the OnePlus 13 offers a substantially larger, higher-resolution display than the Xiaomi 15. Both specifications list a refresh rate range reaching 120Hz; OnePlus describes its rate as dynamic. Choose this form factor if a large viewing area is more important than one-handed handling.
Xiaomi 15: narrower and lighter
Xiaomi lists its standard Xiaomi 15 at 71.2mm wide and 191g. OnePlus lists the OnePlus 13 at 76.5mm wide and 210–213g, depending on finish. Xiaomi India gives dimensions of 152.3 × 71.2 × 8.08mm for the standard finishes listed there. The width and weight figures point to the Xiaomi as the more compact option; they do not describe how either phone feels in every hand or with a case.
#1 Best Overall
Battery capacity and charging are not battery-life tests
OnePlus lists a 6,000mAh dual-cell battery, while Xiaomi lists 5,240mAh typical capacity. A larger stated capacity does not by itself prove longer runtime: screen size, software, network conditions, and usage all affect endurance. Xiaomi also cites up to 25 hours of video playback based on Xiaomi Internal Labs testing and says actual results may vary; treat that as a manufacturer test claim, not an independent head-to-head result.
The global specifications list 100W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging for OnePlus, versus 90W HyperCharge wired and 50W wireless HyperCharge for Xiaomi. Charging figures and supported adapters can vary by region. In particular, OnePlus’s US page notes 80W charging, with up to 100W when using the company’s 100W adapter. Check the regional product page and confirm what is included with the phone before buying.
Camera hardware: different descriptions, no proven winner
OnePlus specifies three 50MP rear cameras: a wide camera, a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide camera. Xiaomi describes the Xiaomi 15 as a Leica triple-camera system and identifies a 50MP main camera with a Light Fusion 900 sensor, alongside floating telephoto and ultra-wide cameras. Xiaomi says feature availability can vary by region and software version.

These descriptions help distinguish the hardware and manufacturer features, but megapixel counts and a camera-system name do not establish comparative photo or video quality. A fair quality verdict requires comparable independent testing across the same scenes, settings, and software versions.

The available official listings do not establish a current same-country price comparison for matching storage capacities, so there is no defensible universal answer to which phone costs less or by how much. Prices can change with seller, promotion, configuration, and country.
OnePlus India lists these MRPs: ₹69,999 for 12GB/256GB, ₹76,999 for 16GB/512GB, and ₹89,999 for 24GB/1TB. These are India MRP listings, not guaranteed live selling prices. Xiaomi India’s page lists the Xiaomi 15 in a 12GB/512GB configuration but does not state a price. Comparing the OnePlus 12GB/256GB MRP with that Xiaomi configuration would also mismatch storage capacity. OnePlus’s US listing advertises a starting price of $899.99, but that figure does not establish a comparable Xiaomi price in the US.
- Choose your country and the exact RAM/storage configuration you want.
- Check current prices from authorized sellers for both phones in that market, at the same capacity where possible.
- Compare the final payable amount, including any promotion, required adapter, and delivery charges; verify stock and local warranty terms.
Do not use prices from different countries or unlike storage configurations to calculate a price gap.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the OnePlus 13 if you prefer its larger 6.82-inch QHD+ screen, higher listed battery capacity, or its specified 3x optical telephoto camera.
- Consider the Xiaomi 15 if a narrower, lighter phone is a priority, or if Xiaomi’s Leica-branded camera system and listed features better fit your preferences.
- For performance, camera quality, or battery endurance, these specification sheets alone cannot identify a winner. Both list Snapdragon 8 Elite, but that does not establish identical real-world performance or thermal behavior.
- For value, decide only after checking same-market, same-capacity prices and local warranty and charger details.
