Which phone has the better display?

On paper, the OnePlus 13 provides more screen area and substantially more resolution: its 6.82-inch panel is 3168 × 1440, compared with the Pixel 10a’s 160mm pOLED screen at 1080 × 2424. OnePlus lists a dynamic refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz; Google lists 60Hz to 120Hz for the Pixel 10a.

How do their processors, RAM, and storage compare?

The OnePlus 13 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite and is listed with either 12GB RAM and 256GB storage or 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The Pixel 10a uses Google’s Tensor G4 and has 8GB RAM. Google’s available storage configurations vary by market, so check the listing for the country where you plan to buy.

These are different processor platforms, and the listed specifications do not provide a like-for-like benchmark. They cannot establish which phone is faster in a particular app or workload.

Battery capacity and charging

OnePlus lists a 6,000mAh dual-cell battery for the OnePlus 13. Google lists a typical 5,100mAh battery for the Pixel 10a, with a minimum capacity of 5,000mAh. Capacity figures alone do not show how long either phone lasts in everyday use.

The charging claims also use different methods. OnePlus lists 80W SUPERVOOC charging, up to 100W with its specified adapter, and 50W AIRVOOC. Google says the Pixel 10a can reach up to 50% in about 30 minutes using a 45W USB-C PPS charger or higher; that charger is sold separately. These claims are not a controlled comparison, so they do not establish which phone charges faster in practice.

Camera hardware and what the specifications establish

The OnePlus 13 has three rear cameras, including a 50MP main camera, as well as telephoto and ultrawide cameras. The Pixel 10a has a 48MP wide camera and a 13MP ultrawide camera, and Google lists Super Zoom up to 8×.

Camera count, megapixels, and a zoom specification do not establish which phone takes better photos. That depends on image processing and performance in the shooting conditions that matter to you; the cited specifications do not provide comparative camera tests.

Software support: what is confirmed

Google states that the Pixel 10a receives seven years of OS, security, and Pixel Drop updates. OnePlus lists OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 for the OnePlus 13, but the cited OnePlus specifications do not establish a support-duration promise that can be directly compared with Google’s. Do not infer a matching or shorter update period from that omission alone.

What is the US launch-price difference?

OnePlus announced a US launch price of $899 for the OnePlus 13 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and $999 for the 16GB/512GB configuration. Google announced a $499 US launch price for the Pixel 10a. Comparing the $899 OnePlus configuration with the Pixel 10a gives a $400 difference at launch; comparing the $999 OnePlus configuration with the Pixel gives a $500 difference.

These are launch-price comparisons, not current prices. Promotions, stock, and local pricing can change, and the figures should not be treated as equivalent to a live quote. Google’s India specification page displays ₹55,999; that regional figure should not be mixed into the US comparison. For launch details, see OnePlus’s North America announcement and Google’s Pixel 10a announcement.

Which one should you choose?

  • Consider the OnePlus 13 if you want the larger, higher-resolution display, the listed Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, or the higher-RAM and higher-storage configuration.
  • Consider the Pixel 10a if its lower US launch price and Google’s stated seven-year OS, security, and Pixel Drop update commitment better fit your priorities.

These trade-offs follow from the manufacturers’ specifications and launch announcements; they are not a tested verdict on speed, endurance, or camera quality. Check current prices for the same storage configuration and sales region before buying.
